    Dad and step mom went to Texas. I remember going to my dad’s on the weekend and he was busy working still so he’d turn Texas on and I would watch Major Applewhite do his thing. Then lived in Austin since 8th grade. I remember going to the co-op in 05 after the Rose Bowl win in high school and going crazy. i foolishly decided to get out of Austin for college instead of UT but I guess it worked out since I met my wife at school! Haha

    I’ve heard/read every once in a while that starters on the top teams aren’t much better than the mid-pack or top 2/3rds teams. It’s the fact their backups and 3rd string are much much better that allows them to really get better and pull away usually this is true here. Our depth should be much better than their depth allowing us to stay fresh and help

    That was more of the Eagles putting in backups and letting up than the Chiefs doing anything. They didn’t even get pass mid-field all game until that TD I believe

    100% agree. But I think where some of this is coming from (at least for him) is that he was publicly bashing the team and players and playing victim almost.

    Not because of the ASU game, I think OSU is just firing on all cylinders and Howard and that team is hot at the right time. I think they win by like 13+ with pulling away in the 4th quarter due to us pushing to come back edit: also telling this to myself so I don’t overly worked up if this happens. I see either a close UT win or a big OSU win

    They need to do a lot of revision of after this year. Like reseed every round give the highest seed the lowest seed and so forth every round

    Taaffe did what you’re taught from the start. Hit hard, drive through the player, keep your head up and wrap them up and drive to the ground he didn’t do anything other than fundamentally hit a player who was in a bad spot due to a throw. and call me old school; but this “defenseless” needs to be pretty obvious. If a player is jumping up for a pass in the middle of the field you better be prepared to get hit and hit hard. Come on with that.

    Besides that interception what did he do wrong? Did he miss two field goals after he drove them into FG range? Did he fumble in the endzone? Did he run into the punter? Did he create the 5 false starts? Did he get the defensive PI or holding calls? Face mask calls? or did he throw a 4th and 13 to win the game? Did he throw an amazing pass to Helm after escaping the pocket in OT? Did he have another amazing throw for the long TD? Did he run it into the end zone on a long scramble? 20-30 for 3 TD’s 322 yards. Oh and the longest active streak in FBS for TD’s in a game. you’re gonna blame Arch for everything next year too; right?

    Quinn hit some great throws that were unbelievable. Ran for a TD on a great scramble. 4th and 13 dot. Only bad play was the INT.
