  1. Yep. I realized that after someone else corrected me. Thanks
  2. No. Texas recruited him hard out of high school, but he chose Florida instead. Then transferred to ole Miss a couple seasons ago. Really good player. I was disappointed when he chose Florida over us initially. Would be pretty sweet to have him finish here.
  3. Here's Chester:
  4. That's weird. He wants something called Aaron Philo throwing him the ball?
  5. I had literally never used the ignore feature before until this last week. It just became insufferable. But, ignore has made it a bit more pleasant for sure!
  6. This was literally the first thing that came to my mind when I read Gerry's post.
  7. Been in UT about 6 years after having lived my whole life in TX prior to that.
  8. Not too many Texas fans out this way. I live in Sandy. How long you been in Eagle Mountain?
  9. Born in Brownwood TX Lived in Austin, Buda, Kyle for 14 years Now live in Sandy, UT for the last 6 years and love it Hook'Em!
  10. @CJ Vogel Cam Cook entered the portal. He's not the bigger back that we assumed Texas would target, but with Tre in the portal now, is he someone that Texas will take a look at? Round Rock native and played at TCU before transferring down to Jacksonville St. Led the nation in rushing at that level, but is he talented or quick enough for SEC?
  11. This was the best thing I've seen since, well... Friday and Saturday watching the real thing happen!
  12. Cal was going of be my number 1. Terrible situation with travel and the alumni base and school don't care at all about sports, so there is no support. I wouldn't touch that job if I were a coach.
  13. I get this feeling too. I know he can make rash decisions, but he just seems to be really settled in Oxford. I guess we will see. Also, I have an easier time seeing him at Florida than at LSU. Is he really a fit there? I mean he'd be better than Brian Kelly, but Florida just seems like the perfect fit if he were to leave Ole Miss.
  14. He is that! There's no denying that he can coach the heck out of a DLine
  15. This is my thought process as well. We keep hearing people talking about "rev share" as if the school truly has to stay within the $20.5 mil, but the third party deals are how many other schools like TTU, USC, Ohio State are getting around it. The numbers that are coming out right now do not back up the idea that you have to stay within the "rev share." But, unfortunately, that is what it seems Texas has mostly decided to do. When I hear "you can't pay everyone", I have to wonder if that is just a way of saying that Texas doesn't want to play in the third party world like many of the schools who seem to be landing and flipping higher rated prospects. I understand that a whole class is not going t one 4 and 5 stars, but I think we are past the days of "Sark stays on his guys". This week and all of the offers that have gone out to guys that weren't even on the board proves this.
  16. I mostly agree, although I could see Miss St as well being able to interpret all of that. What I would love more than anything is to see Coach O on the sidelines wearing blue and orange in Gainesville. The UF fans would have a blast with that! 🤣
  17. I have to admit that I thought about this during the game as well. However, there were enough positives in the game overall that it didn't feel quite like a Herman game.
  18. I like the way you think...
  19. This is absolutely the thing to be most critical of in this game. I will defend a lot of what others are crying and screaming about, but the RZ was bad and has been for several years now.
  20. That would be true if we actually couldn't run the ball. We ran the ball all game. We didn't punch it in at the 1. That's a problem. A big problem. But saying we couldn't figure out how to run the ball is just wrong.
  21. I don't totally agree with this. The first drive was actually pretty decent. Ran the ball really well. Arch was off on his passes. If he hits those passes instead of throwing the ball in the turf, the opening drive looks a lot different. It was the rest of the first and second quarters that playcalling was bad.
