  1. I get where you are coming from, especially as I myself have dealt with addiction issues of my own, so I fully understand your concern. However, my own recovery has shown me that placing blame elsewhere for my own behaviors and choices is just another way to justify my choices and enable myself more. I would challenge that saying that OTF or other podcasts who are sponsored by a bookie business is no different than being sponsored by an alcohol company, car company, etc. Alcoholics could try and say that the podcasts or the sports they watch should not advertise alcohol even though millions of people enjoy alcohol responsibly. People that have been constantly in trouble with the law for speeding, reckless driving (hello UGA football players) could try and blame advertisements for sport cars. Again, I do feel where you are coming from. However, each person has to take and accept responsibility for their own choices and behaviors. No podcast pushed Sorsby to make 10,000 bets over the last couple years. If he wants to be healthy, he has to take his treatment seriously and put it above all else. I wish him luck and hope that he and everyone else can refrain from placing blame on anyone besides themselves for their own choices.
  2. This would be very interesting, but very predictable.
  3. Pretty interesting - the SEC had 19 more drafted players with 2 less schools to pull from compared to the B1G.
  4. It really has been surprising how many TE have been taken already. I know Endries wasn't mocked to go in the 3rd, but with this many taken, teams may take him earlier than anticipated. We will see. It seems odd that Manny hasn't gone yet with the number of DBs that have been taken, but the last 3 have all had high numbers of INTs in their careers. That was something Manny just couldn't do in game during his 3 years. We will see...
  5. This was the first thing that came to my mind
  6. This was my first thought as well. My optimistic hope is that it is genuine and we can make a huge impression and get in the game on this one, but my gut tells me that this is a negotiation strategy by the kid's agent and OSU will pony up the big bucks to make him stay in the Midwest.
  7. Love this too. So glad that Sark is having him come out and do some of these press availabilities. I know Bobby has talked about Sark being more confident in his team and that's why he's allowing this when he hasn't in years past. I think that plays into it for sure, but do you think that this is more of a Muschamp thing? Sark wanted him to be the "Head Coach" of the defense. I wonder if Sark is giving him that leeway to make the choice to do these or not. PK would never have wanted to even if he had the choice. I just wonder if this is part of Sark being a little more willing to step back and allow Muschamp to be in charge of some of this.
  8. That was an incredible read and play. I, along with probably everyone else, was in shock at how the game got away from us in the second half. But, that play shows what made Quinn as good as he was. He was calm throughout all of it, made the right read and check and then made the throw in the moment it had to happen. Thanks for bringing this up!
  9. Great read. Love the details we are getting about how practices are run and the areas of emphasis. Keep 'em coming!
  10. Is the Mt. Rushmore football specific or not. Definitely changes things @Bobby Burton
  11. Is that fast? 😆
  12. Yep. I got it on Chrome and Safari
  13. I had the win tonight, but have them losing in the sweet 16
  14. For me it was about 1992-1999. Those were my middle school to early high school years. I just loved it and you had different blue bloods winning it throughout that time period (UCLA, Duke, UNC, UCONN, Kentucky, Arizona to an extent). Since then, there have definitely been years I enjoyed, but the quality of basketball during that time was awesome. I don't know if others are this way, but I really don't like the cinderella stories. I want the blue bloods playing in the end (of course the exception would be UT). Some of the other years I've enjoyed were : 2008 Final Four: Kansas, Memphis, UNC, UCLA 2009: Final Four: UNC, Michigan State, UCONN, Villanova 2014: Final Four: Florida, Wisconsin, UCONN, Kentucky
  15. I mean, I'm not saying you're wrong, but...
  16. I see what you're saying, but it's been 2 years not just 1. He also won NCs at JMU when they were DII. He's a heck of a coach, but you absolutely are right that we are going to learn a lot in the next couple of years as he has to replace so much and those players start really getting paid and you have to balance the egos and everything else that goes into it.
  17. I tend to agree with everything on your list. Only thing I would say is I feel like 5-8 should be grouped together. I don't think Freeman has done any more than Sark, Lanning, or Cristobal. He played for a NC, but so did Cristobal. I could be good with any order of those 4 really.
  18. Love this offer. He may not be the most gifted or talented in an OL room, but the attitude and technique will make him a player. He has a lot of nasty and bully in him. High drive. He also plays with pretty good leverage. He is able to drive defenders and put them on their back because he is getting low as he hits (like a good OL should). He isn't just depending on his natural size or strength to overmatch defenders. He's playing with leverage. This bodes well for him moving forward because he doesn't have to learn it, it's already part of his game. Really like him.
  19. Really like the film. He is highly aggressive, but seems pretty technically sound. @Gerry Hamilton Does he project more at T or interior? He plays both Tackle and Center in the film.
  20. That's the stuff of nightmares right there
  21. Yeah, first thing that came to mind was "bad intentions". The dude wants to hurt people.
  22. For reference - non-private, power 4 schools in the top 100: #9 - Michigan #20 - Wisconsin #33 - Ohio State #37 - Texas #45 - USC (Southern Cal) #47 - Virginia #80 - Washington #81 - Penn State #85 - Michigan State #87 - Utah #91 - Arizona State #95 - Maryland
  23. What's really insane is how fast a bunch of those kids are. I mean there's 3 there sub-10.2 and 3 more that are sub-10.3🤯 That's insane. I would love to have Dillon Mitchell playing football, but my goodness. That kid needs to be an olympian. Marquise Goodwin maybe???
  24. Colin could be incredible this year. Truly a game changer. I'm also thinking about how Muschamp deploys LB in the pass rush, Biles could wreak serious havoc as well.
