  1. How very aggy of them.
  2. Eddie Phillips was a darn good wishbone operator. The game in which he is pictured was saved by a last-minute miracle pass completion to Cotton Speyrer.
  3. I'm counting on our punter to keep them backed up all day. Games like this can be decided by who has the better kicking game.
  4. Sounds like Jim Harbaugh's been getting advice from Barry Switzer.
  5. For all you young-uns, Sports Illustrated named Texas #1 on September 10, 1973 only to be upset by upstart Miami (5-6) 11 days later. The Sports Illustrated cover was considered by many to be a curse.
  6. I never liked being ranked this high this early. It's hard for human nature not to eat the rat poison.
  7. The most unbelievable running back I have ever seen, the Tyler Rose. the GOAT. Courteous and humble in person.
  8. J. Whitt. He never gave up on his dream. Team player, great blocker.
  9. I'm very high on beating them two years in a row.
  10. Raymond Clayborn was Superman whenever he played at Texas. Ted Koy was probably the only #24 to ever shake hands with the POTUS.
  11. The Memorial Stadium rededication monument, placed at the top of the north end zone in 1977. Attempted theft by a small group of aggroids in the mid80s. They dropped it, damaged it, and got arrested. The replacement monument was moved along with the bronze war memorial during the stadium expansion. The original resides at my house
  12. Looks like bait for Ant Hill and Simmons.
