    By the end of the 1968 season Texas was head and shoulders the best team in the nation. The backfield of Chris Gilbert, Ted Koy, Steve Worster and James Street were smoking with gas.

    Need a category for Team Leader that includes James Street, Major Applewhite, Marty Akins, etc. Anyone that doesn't have Earl Campbell listed at #1 never saw him play in person. You have to remember that DKR played him as a fullback for three seasons and he was injured his junior year. He was not played at tailback until his senior year under Fred Akers.

    He is counting 2" of hair in that photo. Kylar Murray is short. Baker Mayfield is short by NFL standards. I dislike short quarterbacks except for Donnie Wigginton.

    Five years ago we went 5 days and nights without power with a temperature of 0 degrees and minus 2 degrees at night. (all electric house) I managed to save all the plumbing but that was a challenge. Thanks Mark.
