    Former Texas Tech football quarterback Brendan Sorsby thrusted himself back into the national spotlight. He explains his side of the gambling controversy during his appearance on Paramount +'s "The Program," released before Labor Day weekend. Yet one TTU booster warns of "retribution" coming toward the Red Raiders. Prominent booster and former Red Raiders player Cody Campbell appeared during the four-part documentary too. Campbell is responsible for helping lead the NIL efforts of the Lubbock university. But he also believes opponents will take aim at TTU over the Sorsby controversy. "We're not going to forget about that, and I don't think they'll forget about it either when we're up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter," Campbell said via a transcript posted online. "That's where the retribution will come." Campbell blasts the thought of TTU doing anything wrong regarding how it handled the issue. Yet also believes the situation could've been "handled much more privately."

    Truly a very sad day. She was one of a kind. I can remember her as the young girl "Norma Jean" on the Porter Wagoner television show, which my dad insisted on watching. I think I will always love her.

    Raymond Clayborn was a very talented two-way athlete. He was a threat to score any time he touched the ball. Ted Koy is a true Longhorn legend. Not too many guys have been on a stage with a sitting president while still in his football gear.

    College football is turning into a cluster and Kiffin is leading the circus as the P.T Barnum of the sport.

    Eddie Phillips took over for a Longhorn legend QB and led them to a 10-1 season, averaging 38 points per game and put hardware in the trophy case. I vote Eddie.
