  1. I'm wrong 39th overall. I still felt it was a reach 😂
  2. I thought teven Jenkins from Oklahoma State went first round
  3. Would you say the freshman tight ends have been more impressive than the young wide receivers at this juncture from a future recruiting standpoint?
  4. Max Abmas reminded me of AJ Abrams a bit. The time really does fly by. I remember having the college basketball video game back in the day with TJ Ford on the cover. One of the best point guards I've seen. A faster Ed Cota who could score.
  5. He doesn't make Rushmore but Daniel Gibsons era of Texas was a lot of fun.. Tucker, Aldridge, brad buckman etc. Under Sean Miller, should start seeing loaded teams like that again...
  6. DJs spin move was ridiculous. Underrated.
  7. Yes sir inducted in 1982. It is the basketball hall of fame so it encompasses college, pro, international etc contributions to the game.
  8. Met Kris Clack at the Summer League at UMass Boston back in the day. He had a shootout with spurs prospect Derrick Dial. Pretty cool but Red Auerbach sat two rows in front of me during that game.
  9. We live down on the coast and dogs that have anxiety getting on boats etc do well with pet CBD. Check out their site they may have something for pets.
  10. Great post. I'd say at Texas but a pro Mt Rushmore is very interesting also. Tre Johnson professionally will far surpass the college legacy he left. DJ Augustin is severely underrated. Cory Joseph - Chris Mihm - Tristan Thompson many first round picks in the past who provided much less value to winning than PJ Tucker.
  11. One of the few times I disagree with you. Although it's not a big deal it's odd behavior by the kid. We'll see how he does in that system with their average QBs. Not a kid I'd recruit through the whistle or accept in the portal for that move. Alright I'll smoke grass.
  12. Agreed but glad there was a thread about it. I think pretty much every longhorns fan will root for the finleys even at notre Dame. Just odd to toss a Texas hat to the ground. It's water under the bridge but would have been much more fitting had he tossed an A and M hat.
  13. What is your Mount Rushmore for Texas College Basketball? As a Celtic fan I'm cancelling out Joe Z saying Payton Pritchard with Avery Bradley. Longhorn Nation, who are your top picks in hoops? TJ Ford and Kevin Durant should be shoe ins...
  14. Bang??? Woohoo Very happy to land Turntine. He's a monster.
  15. Different position but man he moves like John Hannah.
  16. Did anyone stand out from a vocal/leadership position as far as taking the lead in drills or going above and beyond in any capacity worth noting?
  17. Last night they had referenced Chase Calicut had privately verbally committed to Texas so that hi became a bye in the NIL era... Will see how things go during the season with some of these kids.
  18. I appreciate the discourse and discussion, no need to move along down the road. From a birds eye view perspective... How smart was Texas to load up on the offensive line as well as wide receivers for Arch to develop with versus the chase now for big boy recruiting in the SEC? Honestly tremendous timing and planning by Texas administration where for the first time in a long time despite it being a small chance, I will be very disappointed not winning a national title. Back to back final fours, now a unicorn at QB. Things couldn't be better imo.
  19. The best dynasties have always controlled the line or scrimmage. Jerry Rice certainly won titles but as collegiate football becomes more pay to play, Randy Moss , Terrell Owens, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald never won Superbowls. No fault of their own but this staff is prioritizing the appropriate positions imo.
