I win against OU would’ve built a lot of hope.

After a lateral once the player establishes himself as a passer the same protections that a QB receive applies to the new passer.

A rational response would be to hope we figure it out and everyone gets better and plays better. Instead, you went full toxic.

I think this covers all of my feelings. We knew what Oklahoma was going to do and we allowed them to do it. We gave them an awful pick 6 on a duck thrown by Arch and a blocked punt where we decided not to block. We had 2 weeks to be prepared and we weren’t. My thoughts are jumbled and all over the place, but what I cannot get out of my mind is that Arch has regressed from where he was at the end of last season. His confidence and swagger is gone and it looks like the stage is too big for him. In the end, what is done is done and now we have to prepare for a Florida team that should come in fighting for its life which could be another bad recipe for Texas.

I agree and that’s why I think it is important that we get the ball out of arch’s hands as quick as possible. At least at the beginning, let’s take 4 or 5 yard passes and then later on we can try and stretch the field.

I’m not getting any younger and too many years on the flight line and at rock concerts have done their damage. Lol
