Texas: over and going 10:2 potential losses @Florida (early in the season for offense to gel) and @Georgia (our cryptonite team) Aggies: under with 5 losses to the good guys, @Notre Dame, @South Caroline, @LSU and hopefully @Arkansas (they're due a win) If they somehow manage to squeak out a win in Fayetteville like they always did the last couple years - it's because they already feel the pressure from losing to Florida at home the week before. 🤭 Choklahoma: over with losses to Texas, @South Carolina, @Tennessee and @Alabama

This was awkward to watch. Even her own family didn't appear to be excited and she had to tell them to cheer along with the silenced audience. I think its a strange decision from a marketing perspective but I guess everyone is entitled to his/her own priorities.

Does Texas still get in with a close loss to A&M over let's say Indiana and their 106th ranked SOS? I think strenght of schedule should actually play a much bigger role and teams ought to be rewarded for playing strong out of conference opponents instead of FCS cupcakes.

If one or all of Ethan Burke, Cam Williams or DJ Campbell have a great season and receive a first (or even second) round grade - do you see them leaving school?

Murphy being the very first defender taken AND going Top10 would be really something marketable for the UT social media department.

Wow! That'd be an amazing class. Hard to believe that#s not at least enough for top3. And it would address our needs for LB and DT almost perfectly. 🤘 One other thing. CJ mentioned in his interview with B. Brown yesterday that OTF is thinking about putting out its own rankings for the 2025 class. Is that true and if so, how far along in the process are you?

Really great news on Moore. If he could replicate even half the sack numbers he had at UTSA that'd be fantastic opposite Ethan Burke. I have high hopes for him as well being a year older and stronger going into his third year. If Sorrell plays solid AND Collin Simmons is coming on as the season goes on, we should manifacture a much better pass rush this year. And that would also help the secondary enourmously.

Great update and summary! Thanks Gerry! I am a bit perplexed about the approach of recruiting Brandon Brown. He is a VERY important DL recruit this cycle and the only DL commit in the class thus far. If I were the newly hired DL coach at Texas, he would have been among the very first people I called. If not on the first, then on the second day on the job.
