  1. Interesting, makes sense. I'm assuming the 9 games will still be regular season games only, so essentially, you could take a player, sit him out for the non-conference games, and then they are eligible to play the rest of the season without burning a redshirt, which is just wild to me.
  2. Why not just give players five years of eligibility at that point?
  3. If we were willing to pay Sprague $1.5M, what’s another mil for a considerably better player?
  4. The dramatic LT vs RT dynamic is such a thing of the past. Three of the eight highest paid tackles in the NFL are right tackles. In the last three drafts, there have been seven tackles taken in the top-10. Four of those played right tackle in college (Membou, Alt, Latham, Wright). Whichever player switched to RT would not be hurting their draft stock one bit.
  5. How much tampering needs to be done to get Malachi Toney into the portal? Asking for a friend.
  6. Miami is about to get punished for playing with their food all night. They’ve had so many opportunities to bury Ole Miss and keep letting them off the hook. At least 4 dropped gimme INTs.
  7. Heard they're looking at Cletus Sheephumper from Arkansas State as well.
  8. There is going to be a reckoning in how big schools approach high school recruiting from this mass exodus. I'm not sure there is any point in big schools signing anywhere close to 25 high school recruits each cycle when you're virtually guaranteed to lose 10-15 of them the very next offseason. Let them go to smaller programs and then cherry pick the ones that emerge. Don't waste roster spots on freshmen who won't contribute for two years. Hoping that someone steps up and pushes college football in a different direction because this absolutely stinks.
  9. Cam Coleman, Raleek Brown, and at least two competent offensive line and I swear I won't ask for anything else, Portal Gods 🙏
  10. lol at this banner ad I'm getting served on this thread
  11. If Sark needs a 40 year old tight end, I’m in. Strengths: 6-8 and 270 pounds with an 82” wingspan, great hands, already live in the Austin area, not a transfer threat. Weaknesses: 40 years old, never ran faster than 4.85 (and that was 20 years and 65 pounds ago), stretched ligaments in my right ankle that virtually guarantee a sprain if I step on someone’s foot, terrible play strength for my size, zero lateral agility, cannot play more than two snaps in a row without a 15 minute break.
  12. Jacarrius Peak in the same boat? He has lots of RT experience.
  13. Two things... 1. Is it possible that Sark really is going to the NFL and players/agents know it? 2. Did broadcasting the "we're ALL-IN" messaging (not OTF, but the staff, who was clearly putting those kinds of things out there) just effectively put a billboard up for agents to come take advantage of us and get their guys raises to stay where they wanted to be all along?
  14. Leander, TX now, but grew up in Nashville, TN.
  15. You like Sorsby in a Leftwich offense more than Maiava in a Riley offense? I think I'd still take door number two between those options.
  16. Yeah, I'm 100% in on this dude. Sounds like a maniac, which is still the number one quality you have to have to be an elite linebacker.
  17. Even if they think Wingo can make the leap, they still need to have the mindset of "needing" two WR1s. We've been at our best when we've had Worthy AND Mitchell and then Bond AND Golden. I think you could even make the case that Bond falling off the face of the earth for whatever reason late last season could have been the difference between what we got and a natty. And when Sark had his best offenses of his career at Alabama, we all know the insane amount of WR talent those teams had together. We need Wingo AND _________, especially if Endries doesn't return. I really like Mosley a lot, but I'm not sure he's got future first round WR type talent and that's ultimately what we need in 2026.
  18. Welp … Lott to Oregon. Official.
