    There isn't a player from Texas that has entered the portal that will cost the Longhorns a football game next year. Some good players who's production can be replaced and then bench players who will go to lesser P4 or G6 programs because they can't get on elsewhere. I'm still not concerned. But please get some OL.     If Brunner wanted to stay in the Midwest, why even contact Texas at all? First time I've been triggered by someone this portal season. Just wasting our time.

    Sprague staying makes sense from a macro view. If he was happy with Michigan than the only reason he entered the portal was the Moore firing (the coach that recruited and coached him). If he was satisfied with Whittingham then why move your life 20 hours south for a pay increase when you're planning on entering the draft in a year. Still disappointing to miss on him but it destroys the narrative that Texas is penny pinching or that players are just using Texas to get pay bumps.

    It'll be interesting to see how the NIL funds get split to 20 extra players. You definitely don't want to rob funds from superstar #1 to help secure Dude Bro #104. I don't think this drastically effects the portal as much as high school recruiting. You can take a chance on the low 3 star or even high 2 star guy now. This will certainly eliminate preferred walk ons simply because those players will be on scholarship.

    As per normal portal rules: we must get everyone, simply throw a bag, anyone we lose means Sark isn't the guy and doesn't wanna win like (insert team that sent a literal Brinks truck).
