    He was the #6 prospect in 2025, and was comped to Kyle Hamilton. It’s really hard to make it in baseball. Yes, you’ll get a nice signing bonus in the draft, but making it to the bigs is a grind. Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray chose football for a reason.

    What’s upsetting is how OL and particularly IOL was talked ad nauseam about being priority number one and will be absolutely addressed. Signing one dude with a handful of starts at Oregon state is not that. Yes we got a haul of dudes from the portal to be very excited about but it’s still very disappointing the way OL was addressed.

    Listening to the backtracking on C&F on the line is pretty disheartening. We’re now saying Baker at guard is an addition… come on. Let’s just agree that Texas whiffed on the IOL and it’s a huge question mark and potential major issue.
