You think his MVP chances are getting higher?

I think Jokic should win but if he and SGA miss the required amount of games, I think it’s his to lose

I'm on team Wemby or Jokic for MVP for sure. I could go either way on it.

Like you said, health the last 16-17 games ... who will qualify.

Funny how opinions off of one game are so different

So a former two time All-Big selection texts he during the game about how much he likes him as a player … he’s not caught up the vacuum of one game. He’s lookin at it from a different way … the projection of the position he will play, who he will be guarding, bad shooting night vs 44-45% from three over course of season and AAU, etc

What the two time All-Big selection and European pro player sent me (no he’s not a former UT player) after their loss

“Yeah, Ogden’s a dude. Serious stroke. Better defensively than I thought. Better feet.”

Well in Round 1, Vista Ridge didn't nearly have the athletes that Little Elm did, but VR got physical & pressured him which clearly rattled Ogden...shot 1 for 8 from three for 10pts on the night.  Again, he had a tough time with getting around defenders.  The next 3 playoff games, opponents played him like he was a regular Joe, & Ogden went off of them.

Not saying the kid isn't talented, he obviously is.  But IMO, a top 40 guy in the nation should be able to almost have his way with HS defenders.

D1 wing defenders are going to all over him.  He'll need time for his body to get stronger & faster.

Saying he was rattled (like mentally) is laughable. Dude has played against high-major players for years on the AAU circuit. He's played against UT players in the summer for multiple years.

Time will tell. He will be better in year one than you think. The game changes when you have other high-major players around you vs. future UT and A&M frat boys. He was face guarded all season long because he had frat boys around him, and one other college player. Just being real.

Pretty spot on. Where would you have Lane? I feel like you are pretty high on him so surprised you don’t have him in the sark/lanning/mario section. I guess you if did just offensive minds he’d be up there no doubt but just curious.. I personally wouldn’t

Great Q ... he's in the next tier after until he ascends a little more (which he will at LSU IMO), and actually coaches a team deep into the CFP

  6. For me going into this season ...

    1. Kirby

2 Day (I joke about Day being born on 3rd base like anyone else, but has been to five CFP's, 7 straight top 10 finishes and has kept Ohio State amongst the top 2-3 college programs since being hired - which is all very impressive). Would go Day, for now.

    3. Cignetti

    4. Kalen DeBoer - taken two teams to CFP, and played for an NC

    5. Marcus Freeman -played for an NC, and took over top historical brand in CFB at age 37. Many have failed in similar scenarios before him at various blue bloods.

6-8 ... Flip coins on Sark, Lanning and Cristobal ... depends on your criteria

Sark and Lanning the convo ... Lanning bad playoff losses, also went out and won the Big 10 first year in the league (meaningful)

Cristobal is the one of the three that has played for all the marbles.

BTW, Dabo has really taken a tumble on these lists due to portal approach IMO. It's cost him. But what he's done at Clemson is still CFB Hall of Fame stuff.
