  1. It has been said every season how hard WR is to learn in Sark’s offense and outside of Xavier Worthy, because we had no choice, freshman don’t play hardly at all. D-Mo was also an anomaly in that regard bc Whittington had to be protected but still don’t recall him having a crazy amount of catches or anything. Let’s just see how they look next year. I have a feeling they will ALL produce on a decent level next year, well, Lockett, Ffrench and McCutcheon anyway.
  2. If his agent is Mulugheta as the article says, no way we get him. Yes, he’s represented a bunch of Horns, but David has been getting record setting deals done in the NFL regularly from every position. I don’t see that working in our favor unless he convinces him that Texas could boost his stock best for the NFL BIG money. I’ve been around him enough to know that probably ain’t happening.
  3. Probably 18 the way these rankings have gone this year. It won’t matter though bc win and you’re in!
  4. Please explain how Sark is supposed to go on the field and make routine passes for Arch. Arch is clearly having confidence issues. If he gets those fixed, I’m sure this offense looks immensely different and all the cryers calling for Sark’s head would be doing the opposite and wanting to anoint him and build a statue in front of DKR. We have to let Arch figure out what’s going on in his head. We don’t have a choice. If he can’t figure it out this season, I’m guessing things will be changing drastically in the offseason. People were calling for Mack too during the Simms/Applewhite years and then we ended up with a natty and 2 seasons that arguably could’ve ended that way barring 2 miraculous plays. Not an Aaron Rodgers fan but I will quote him here. R-E-L-A-X…
  5. And that’s why I said “or leaves for the NFL.”
  6. What would be the scenario to see Dry Rub Brisket either fired or off to the NFL? And assuming said “coach” is gone, does that potentially open Mark Bowman back up with a shot for the good guys @Gerry Hamilton, or was the money so high it wouldn’t mattered if they hired Billy Napier as the next coach, he’d still be going USC. Enrich my life so I know what to root for!! PS. - teams dropping like flies today. Opens everything back up for Texas much easier but we need to see the SHSU offense week in and week out. I think we are damn near unbeatable if the O looks like that and the D continues with their upward trajectory. Also, it hasn’t been pretty, but at least our new “Ship”-ley hasn’t Bert Auburned us out of an SEC championship and national championship berth so fingers crossed, Hail Mary ✝️, whatever it takes!
  7. Man, that sucks for the kid. Never want to see that. Glad we might not have to play him though. I think we still would win, but it’s always nice if it’s easier! Especially with their false confidence from that last “victory.” Cheaters will always cheat.
  8. Clemson being hot garbage and how many guys we’ve rotated in during the last 4 games, I’m sure, helped.
  9. If you punch someone in the game it is an ejection. You’re missing the forest for the trees dude. Yes, he grabbed the facemask of one guy, but keep watching, he throws a punch at a guy in street clothes that was supposedly an injured player.
  10. I think if he turns it around and we win out, he’ll easily jump back in it. He will be gifted votes simply bc of his name and if he starts playing like he did last year, they could be hard hard hard to beat.
  11. January got here after Bo left too so I wouldn’t really attach Bo to having anything to do with him or him panning out. Thank Sark/PK keeping him in the boat when others bailed, and Baker doing the heavy lifting. Hopefully he gets Melvin Hills going too just to really rub it in!
  12. Man, that point went waaayyyy over your head. So far you didn’t even see it like Arch’s pass to Wingo. Plus, being a murderer doesn’t bar you from the HOF, ask Ray Lewis and OJ Simpson.
  13. You know who else looked like he could’ve been a HOF TE? Aaron Hernandez. That means nothing. Mahomes also called Kelce out last year for not being in it and running the wrong route a few different times. It wasn’t a postgame, you could see him getting on him in game. Also, I’m pretty sure everyone saw him give up during the Super Bowl. He isn’t the same guy he was in previous seasons. Whether you want to attribute that to the distractions he is facing now or just getting older is up to your discretion, but I don’t think you’re the “Oldest Horn” if you’re defending either him or Swift. More like an undercover Swifty is how you come across and this is a football board. There are other places for you to drool over her terrible music.
  14. Seems like Travis Kelce needs to stop shaking it off and worry about football more or retire.
  15. The main thing he has to do is find the open man and stop looking for the home run play. He started to get it in the 4th quarter. Hopefully he keeps on that trajectory.
  16. And not to pile onto you specifically, but it’s the skee-ball analogy. You have the guy that goes for the “100” the whole time and unless he is lucky he may hit it 2-3x, but me, I go for the 50 every time and never lose. I can hit the 50 with my eyes closed bc it is taking the easier points when they are given. Those 50s add up to 500 from 10 balls when the guy going for the 100 only hits that hole 1-3x per game. It’s an all or none philosophy that can win you games but more consistently leads to losses. This game didn’t warrant the all or none mentality at all. We were moving the ball and they weren’t, plain and simple.
  17. You’ll never move beyond Assistant to the regional manager with that attitude.
  18. That’s just clueless speech…
  19. Endries could’ve easily had a 10+ catch for 100+ yds and 2 TDs as open as he was the whole game. It was crazy. If Arch ever figures out that guy is on our team, he’s gonna have a monster year!
  20. Uh, no, 16-14…the TD wasn’t on 4th down.
  21. From the stands, the OL was great. Arch had tons of time, he just didn’t throw receivers open. He waited until they were open then threw it but by then the windows were closed. He is going to have to process much faster.
  22. The oline was fine. Arch held onto the ball way too long. They had massive push in the run game and Arch was fairly clean even with how long he held it.
  23. It was painful. And hearing it the entire game didn’t make it better.
