    No one said anything negative about the players making more. It’s just crazy that we are in a time where there is THAT much money flowing through the sports. I like the idea stated above of having it trickle down to fans with lower prices since most of the money is TV or ad revenue and not tickets and concessions though those obviously play a role. The curve of how quickly the money is going up is what I was referring to. The last 10 years have been crazy exponential compared to the previous 50-60.

    JSN just signed a 4 yr $168m contract. It wasn’t long ago that it was insane when a QB got to $20m/yr and now WRs are at $40m+/yr while the average man still make something like $60-80,000/yr. Just crazy where some of these sports are headed.

    Can you give us a name so we can make personal prayers for him rather than just a vague “please help the father-in-law of @OTFBrandon? If you don’t want to for privacy reasons, I can respect that and send up the vague prayer but I feel it’s more powerful if we can be direct in our prayers. Thanks dude and hope he gets through this swiftly and stronger on the other side!

    All these comments bashing him are the exact problem with this fan base. He was clearly mocking a heckler…it’s not that deep. Just listen to a postgame media interview to know that’s the type of guy he is. This is the exact problem with society today, being offended but something that you misconstrued and then running with it like it’s facts…get a life.

    I found out recently they don’t really go there anymore. I LIVED on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes after a hard practice or for a late night snack. They don’t know what they’re missing!

    Disagree but it would be disappointing to not see a Manning win one, that’s for sure. There is too much involved to say championship or bust like injuries, crappy refs, uncontrollable circumstance, etc.

    Maybe a little known fact but Kirsty Coventry who is the President of the IOC trained at Texas during 3 of her Olympic runs. My sister was on the team at the time and trained with her.

    You know what? You finally convinced me. It just took you writing 500 posts with the same message for me to see the light. Why are we even lacing ‘em up this year? @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Rod Babers @Jeff Howe Please let the team and coaches know that because we didn’t sign a JAG Guard out of the portal, we are going to be trash this year. None of the guys on the roster have a chance to step up and play well. Not sure what they are even doing on the roster tbh. Just have everyone redshirt this year so we can wait for a shot next portal season. It’s all Flood’s fault that the good guards decided to stay at their current schools instead of coming to Texas.     It’s due to their schedule. They are going to have a cake walk to another undefeated season. I’m sure that has to play into his thought process.
