    I hope they sit down with a clean slate. They don't need to cobble something on top the current foundation. The current situation is what has led us to where we are today. There is not a perfect solution, but there has to be something that is better than what we have today. Questions that need to be asked are: What are the criteria for inclusion in the "new structure"? Are all the SEC and BIG 10 teams automatically included just because they are already in the conference? Should the infrastructure they have for football, stadium, facilities be a consideration? It would be fun to be in the room to hear the discussions. The proverbial fly on the wall.

    That would be nice. For some reason, although I have notifications selected, I don't get notifications. Have looked at several Youtube videos to find a way to correct it. Haven't found the problem yet.

    Managing who goes versus stays during open portal windows will have a significant influence on the success of every college team. Obviously, if done correctly, you keep the top players and those with the greatest potential. You 'lose' the players that contribute or will contribute the least. The portal is a 2 edge sword. It can be good and/or bad. I think Sark will be as good as any head coach in managing it.

    Even Georgia and Alabama have been taking portals and their recruiting has been outstanding for 5+ years. Sometimes you miss on your evaluation of high school recruits and you need to fill a hole to stay competitive.
