  1. Maine in the summer and Charleston, SC in the winter
  2. Exciting game last night against Auburn…the bats were hot in the lower part of the order…5 through 9 made their mark. And what a start for Jonah Williams…2 hits and 3 RBI’s in first two at bats, and nearly outrunning the throw to first in the ninth inning.

  3. I was hoping to see Arch get some reps in most of the fourth quarter at Michigan…would have been good to have him see a full quarter in a venue that was big, even though some of the UM fans were departing and the game was decided. Is it possible that the horns will play GA 3 times? Once in Austin, again in the SEC title game, and finally for the NATTY?
  4. Tip of the hat to Caitlan Clark for her achievement…Division I scoring leader! I realize that one of my favorite players from the past, “Pistol Pete” only had 3 years vs her four. But, let’s at least recognize that she is a premier player and a great representative of lady athletes. I am a proud father of a daughter who is accomplishing a lot in her chosen field. Hook ‘em for ALL of our athletes!

  5. Bobby…I had to smile when you talked about the Rice Owls and asked CJ if he knew that they had at one time been a very good team. In 1954, I was 8 and still have a picture of me in a football uniform with number 47 on the jersey…Dicky Moegle was my idol! And, who could ever forget his game against Alabama in the Cotton Bowl.
