  1. What's your definition of elite? To me, elite is only 3 maybe 4 out of a position a year. I think there are several ahead of him imo. I think elite gets thrown around way too much imo
  2. Yeah I figured that would be a decent one, hen r why I looked at it. Quickly saw I figured wrong lol
  3. PFF - Gordon McGuinness Murphy - 17, Worthy - 33 https://www.pff.com/news/draft-post-combine-2024-nfl-mock-draft-chicago-bears-caleb-williams-brock-bowers Guess he wasn't as impressed with Worthy and AD as others
  4. Figured since this is the most anticipated draft for the Longhorns in awhile, we'd have a centralized location for mocks for those that don't get on here much. I'll start with a website I've posted a few times on here that shows each players consensus and overall rank, along with a graph showing there histories, along with the mock drafts they are in. It doesn't have every mock out there but has most of the . Also has past draft years to compare how the mocks ranked players and where they actually went. Ignore the future years as there isn't very many mocks out there. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/colleges/2024/texas-longhorns Feel free to add an interesting ones you see out there. CBS - Kyle Stackpole Murphy - 17, AD - 26, Worthy - 28 https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-mock-draft-how-qbs-going-1-2-3-4-would-shape-the-rest-of-the-first-round/ Touchdown Wire - Doug Farrar Worthy - 28, Murphy - 30, Ad - 47, Sanders 53 https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/2024-nfl-mock-draft-scouting-combine-justin-fields-caleb-williams-jayden-daniels/
  5. Yeah I think both he and Worthy should be. I think they definitely helped themselves at the combine. Not sure they will make it into the top top group but think they both moved up into the first round imo
  6. Yeah I think we will hear 6-7 the first two days for sure
  7. Yeah I was surprised by the grade on Worthy. What's crazy is his next Gen score was the highest of all Texas participates and 8th overall. So seems the grades look at something a lot different than the next Gen scores do. Pretty sure he'll be round 1 and may not make it past 20.
  8. According to the NFL combine site, we have 5 of the top 34 grades (have #32-34). Most of any college from what I can tell in that range. https://www.nfl.com/combine/tracker/participants/
  9. For sure, just don't like them getting the last weekend before dead period. The first and last OV are typically where a recruit ends up. That's why I hope they don't make that visit, lock them down when we get them on campus
  10. Not liking USC getting some of our top targets the last weekend. Let's hope they don't make that visit 🤘🤘🤘
  11. Cause I normally get a good 10 laughs a day from them. Laughter is the best medicine they say
  12. I think there's been a post on an Aggie board or a tweet every week since the offseason from the Aggies. Trying to say it would be a better situation but really it's just to prep them when we beat them again and want to run imo
  13. I couldn't find anything on UGA boards or other Texas boards. Anyone seen anything else on it anywhere? Odd coming from an Arky guy and not UGA (I know their RB coach is the other finalist but still weird to me)
  14. Good stuff Gerry! Two questions: Texas seems to be in a good spot for quite a few too WRs, any guess what the big board may look like? Saw yesterday a graphic that got accidentally posted that Tyler Thomas committed to the Aggies. Last I saw something, I thought we sat in a very good spot. Did something change or was it just the Aggies been the Aggies with that accident?
  15. Thanks Bobby 🤘🤘🤘
  16. Yeah, I wonder where he sits on the big board for Sark. Got some really good instate WR and Harris out of Materi Dei.
  17. Agreed. That's what I was saying. Even if you did away with ESD, you'd still have to recruit in December through December to make sure they show up at your school on January.
