  1. Past hour
  2. LaNorris Sellers is talented athlete but my goodness does he lack any sense of a brain or football IQ.
  3. A&M game moved to 4:30 pm on ESPN. We are still scheduled to kick at 6:00 pm on ESPN. Where will our game air with the overlap?
  4. Mateer is a MID QB, SC Oline is worse than ours. LSU has no Oline as well
  5. Trenton Henderson to the Forty Acres, Trenton Henderson to the Forty Acres.
  6. 😭😭😭🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🤣🤣🤣🤣
  7. Brian Kelly to the principals office, Brian Kelly to the principals office.
  8. Texas beats SMU in “closed door” scrimmage No score to update as of yet. Texas had five players in double figures. Guards and wings played really well. Texas sat out both Matas and Lassina (minor), and still won. SMU’s entire guard rotation played, as well as top big. SMU was 24-10 last year. “Lots of good. Some bad. But good overall”
  9. We’re halfway through the college football season, and the biggest surprise in the SEC might just be the quarterbacks. Takeaways 1) Preseason All-SEC QBs have underwhelmed. The preseason All-SEC QBs were Garrett Nussmeier (1st Team), LaNorris Sellers (2nd Team), and DJ Lagway (3rd Team). None of them have hit double-digit passing touchdowns through the first half of the year. Their collective QB rating hovers around 135, which is below the SEC average for starting quarterbacks. 2) Jackson Arnold is still Jackson Arnold at Auburn (and OU still sucks). Jackson Arnold has been sacked 21 times—twice as many as Arch Manning (10 sacks), and that’s saying something given our own O-line’s struggles. The issue isn’t just protection; his slow processing has been obvious since his first snaps at OU. I never understood the hype. 3) Biggest Surprises: Ty Simpson and Joey Aguilar. Alabama’s Ty Simpson (16 TDs, 1 INT) and Tennessee’s Joey Aguilar (14 TDs, 5 INT) have been revelations. I didn’t have either name on my preseason Bingo card, but both deserve credit for steadying their programs after losing last year’s starters. Honorable Mention: Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss). Hook 'em!
  10. That’s still an aspiration for him. Colt and Chase didn’t really bounce back to the practice squad regularly. In fact, both signed very nice contracts to be QB2s regularly.
  11. I remain a Diego Pavia believer. It's not his talent, it's his leadership and confidence. Vandy will be tough for us. They are killing it on defense.
  12. Shane Beamer wants that buyout
  13. Ohtani is the greatest to ever do it. Not only because he’s a unicorn but because of the sheer talent and athleticism he’s doing it against. There is so much of a gap between him and everyone else that even an eventual 25HR (4.00 ERA) “down” year could see him win the MVP. Even just being effective at both is a feat so the fact that he’s elite at both is incredible. Everyone seems to think that two-way players like Ohtani are gonna be the future which I could see happening eventually but not ones that are starting pitchers. It’ll probably be guys who are sparsely used as relievers and have to log the 20 innings rule to qualify as a TWP. ESPECIALLY since it also opens up an extra roster spot for teams
  14. Today
  15. Lots of horns here. We’ll be here til Gametime.
  16. @Gerry Hamilton - What's the football equivalent for what Shohei is doing? I might liken it to a QB throwing for 500 yards and also playing DE and getting 3 sacks/6 TFLs in a game? No offense to Travis Hunter, but WR/DB is no way near as hard as Starting Line pitcher and Top line hitter in baseball.
  17. Will our game be moved to another network?
  18. ^^ y’all are so wrong 🤣🤣🤣
  19. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
  20. CJ watching Mateer on that first drive
  21. I think he is the best player in baseball. However, I need to see several more seasons at this high level of play before he will be the GOAT in baseball, much less in all pro sports. Babe Ruth is IMO the GOAT in baseball.
  22. How long you planning to be there? I’ll probably get there around 3
  23. @CJ Vogel I know for damn sure you got the OU game on 😭😭
