  1. Past hour
  2. I think Eric Winston played at Miami. He wanted to but his aggy parents wouldn't let him, so the compromise school was Miami.
  3. In 1970, the last year of the most glorious three year run in UT football history, in which they won 30 games in a row and a national championship (1969), there were three UT All-Americans - Steve Worster, Bobby Wuensch, and Bill Atessis - all of which were starters over that three year run. Wuensch and Atessis were both from Houston Jones, which doesn't exist in name anymore. It's now named Jones Futures Academy, which doesn't have a football team.
  4. Jim Bertelsen 35. RIP Blocked like a pulling guard.
  5. My bad. He wore #11 until his senior season and #37 in hiS final game.
  6. Texas only has Bobino from LaMarque. Ball High - Casey Hampton and now Jonah Williams ... but nobody in between Texas City - Ervis Hill, Tyrone Jones, Everick Rawls, Jermaine Anderson, Armanti Foreman and D'Onta Foreman
  7. Haha. And they are LOADED with young talent
  8. Didn’t Ricky wear 20 the day he broke the record against A&M? I was at that game but my memory is a tad blurry.
  9. That record breaking run against aggy is one of the greatest moments in sports history.
  10. Today
  11. Can we go ahead and add Ismael Camara (probably didn’t spell that right) or is it too soon??
  12. I’ve got to put my Longview Lobos on here. James Street, Vondrell McGee and probably a couple others I forgot about.
  13. Who is this Ricky Williams you speak of mute munroe I’ve never heard of him 👀
  14. We’ll continue to track it over the next 34 days.
  15. I’m with you on this one, but you never know!
  16. You’re sharing with the class when you win, right?
  17. We’re down to just 34 days before the Horns take on the Buckeyes…. Not even asking the question today, despite the title. Ricky. It’s Ricky Williams.
  18. You can’t look at game 20 years ago and translate production to today’s offenses and rules. With Tua missing games in 2019 him and Mac combined for over 4300 yards. Mac in 2020 had 4500.
  19. IMO the QB the past two years was a limiting factor in that. Can’t run it up if your QB can’t connect deep and you always have to rely on a 5-15 yard pass being housed.
  20. Completion percentage doesn’t need to be 67% or better. You can be low 60s and be highly productive and throw for a lot of yards. We really just need to convert redzone opportunities. We were so bad at that the last two years.
  21. Texas had it really good in the portal at WR over the last two cycles, Mitchell then Bond, Bolden and Golden. I like Mosley WR but Mitchell and Golden were on another level, elite.
  22. My guess is yes if Arch stays healthy.
