  2. Seems like clickbait. We are already up to 12 teams which is plenty to determine a NC. Expanding to 14 (2 teams with a bye) or 16 teams is within reason since it is only adding 2 or 4 teams. Adding 12 or 16 teams is unnecessary and creates more chances for blowouts and uncompetitive matchups. The 24th or 28th best team doesn't deserve a shot at an elite team where injuries can occur. The regular season games would mean even less for elite teams since 8 or 9 wins could be enough to make the CFP in a 24 or 28 team CFP. Also I hate excessive autobids, especially for ACC and Big 12. An autobid for a champ from a good conference is by and large a good thing. Many autobids would increase the likelihood a less deserving team gets in over a more deserving and better team.
  3. Bittersweet moment for me. Happy for Mukuba to make that play on Gabriel and showcase his talents in the league. Sad that he's doing this for the Eagles (I'm a Cowboys fan) and that he wasn't at Texas a year sooner than he was to do that to Gabriel in Dallas.
  4. He *should* be, is what I should have said. If he isn’t ready now, he’ll never be.
  5. Wait til you see Makuba pick 6 on Gabriel. 75 yards to the box.
  6. They won 51-3. Probably knew they were going to smoke them and didn’t want to risk injury would be my guess due to what looks like an ankle brace on his left ankle.
  7. Orderd the mug yesterday.
  8. At that point just model FCS format
  9. Texas is significantly better this year in punting and field goal kicking as compared to last year. Could easily be the deciding factor for this Week 1 game.
  10. Would be horrible. Sport can’t get out of its own way.
  11. Would irreparably destroy CFB
  12. Really great way to get fans uninterested in college football. Would be a disaster imo.
  13. This is what I'm saying also. One of my favorite plays was him blocking a db into the kicking net. He's a terrific zone beater, its just his ability to separate from coverage was a little concern. To be fair, in terms of accuracy( ball placement) his qbs didn't do him many favors. Maybe it'll show up for us, I'm hoping it shows up for us. I like his game, he's a glue guy.
  14. The reason Ohio State fans aren’t concerned about the new OC is because we view Day as one of the better play callers in the sport, and will Be there to take over should something go wrong with Hartline. Hartline has learned from Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, Ryan Day, and Chip Kelly so he’s about as well prepared as an offensive coach can be
  15. Tried to sign up today for pronghorn. It was closed as of yesterday 🫤 I did sign up for Abilene whitetail and Yaoakum mule deer today though. That puts me in four total at the moment and I’m sure I’ll do more.
  16. I think he can give this team some of what JWhitt provided in 2023: toughness, downfield blocking, a reliable target on 3rd down who can get to the chains. But he’s also bigger than JWhitt, so he can also offer a big target in the red zone to make the contested catches. We don’t necessarily need him to be a deep threat, because Wingo, Moore, and Livingstone are already filling that role. Mosley adds several capabilities that don’t exist elsewhere on the roster.
  17. Today
  18. It’s amazing how many players from the 90s (and some even early 00s) have ZERO pictures on the internet. During this countdown it’s been easiest to find 2008+ and 1960s era.
  19. Nagy must be feeling the heat from having a recruiting class just inside the top 30.
  20. Tyler Warren is a stud. But after that I think Helm can be as good as any
  21. https://youtu.be/tvunGqDjzNw?feature=shared We've talked about the speed of Mosely here so I decided to go rewatch what he was able to do at Stanford. What I see is toughness, catch radius, sure hands, contested catch ability. What I don't see is burst, elusiveness, separation, or speed. Yes, I know Sark is a much better play designer and caller than whatever they have over there at Stanford. Nor am I looking for Worthy/Bond kind of speed, I just don't see the speed and quickness that has been used to describe him at times. That doesn't mean I don't think he'll be a player for us, because I do think there's a role for a player with his skillset. His tape just tempered my expectations is all.
