The fact that Nagy keeps putting himself out as the spokesman for the program is extremely weird. There's no way the criminals will be able to hire a high level head coach with that strange organizational structure.
-
I didn't watch the whole thing, but that offense didn't look like it helped him much.
-
I actually hope he’s the head coach at Florida next season with Mateer off to the NFL. Let OU go 9 - 3 with the defense being the weak link in 2025.

20+ team CFP model is under discussion
Raistlin replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Truths: 1. No buys should be allowed in the CFP. Make it a level playing field. 2. Therefore, the number of teams should be a multiple of 2. That is 2-4-8-16 for the math impaired. 3. If you have any more than 8 teams, you will include cupcakes. 4. More than 16 teams is idiotic. - Today

Emmett Mosely V Every play

I don't doubt that, I just didn't see the burst, elusiveness, or speed. Even on his 62 yard touchdown with a key block he gets caught. Speed isn't the only way to be a great wideout. I just think Sark will have to scheme him open and when he does I have all the confidence in him to male the play if the play is there. -

How about this: 1) 2 game preseason, records don't count, schedule vs historic rival or regional teams incl fcs, basically a scrimmage and rev generator 2) 32-48 team super league, world cup style groupings of 8. Promotion/relegation optional to the rest of D1 FBS 3) top 16 advance to playoffs in mid Nov. Mirror playoffs for non superleague. Bowl games for rest - A&M Texas Bowl dreams vs B12 live on. 4) National championship Jan 1-10 timeframe, done before spring enrollment 5) 2 portal windows: Dec and May 6) 1 signing day, Dec 1 7) 1-2 revenue spring games allowed vs other schools -

Ohio State news and notes (Updated Sunday 10:10 AM)

The story changed way before Knowles left. We didn’t know how reckless Knowles was until he faced more physical run games in the B1G. Knowles ran a 3-3-5, Ohio State’s roster was always built to run a 4-2-5. LJ wanted more aggressive DL, Knowles wanted his DL to contain more. Once Day interjected, Sawyer took off. -

We're probably going to simply disagree on this. Story changed after Knowles left. Knowles has been solid for years. LJ has been stubborn for years. Why would Day have hired Knowles if he was overly "reckless"? -
His plays weren't all underneath. He wasn't laughing down the feild 40 yards or anything, he operated in the intermediate both inside and outside the numbers. The running game was working so he was able to work off play action. It was a very Brock Purdy like showing for him. But yeah both of his TD throws came in the redzone.

Knowles was reckless before Ohio State with his blitzing and scheme, he over corrected after he was torched at Ohio State his first season and instead played conservative and simply relied on his players to “out athlete” other teams, which worked better until we faced equally as good of offenses like Oregon. -

Perhaps. Given that Knowles was always creative and aggressive with his blitz packages prior to his move to Ohio State, it seems unlikely that Knowles suddenly decided to become cautious and conservative when he finally went to a place with all that athleticism. Conversely, LJ has always had a tight rotation and insistent on "his" guys. -

This was from an Ohio State insider from Letterman Row after today’s scrimmage - 1. still see Sayin as QB1 after today. Would be surprised if he’s not the guy. Heard Lincoln had some really strong throws throughout the day but hearing the expectation is Sayin 2. The running backs and rushing attack continues to look like a strength of this team 3. still looking like the OL is (L to R) Siereveld Montgomery Hinzman Tegra and Daniels with Onianwa as the 6th man
