I think 16 is ideal but I think when you get to the final 8 teams neutral sites are better i know that is 3 games at neutral sites if you make it to the finals but it fits really well with current bowl structure 7 bowls involved in playoffs its a lot of travel for fans but it’s like a Christmas gift to the fans with each win getting rid of conference championship games is the way to go. So far in the 2026 HS class, the 3 OL committed are not expected to be day 1 starters and they each have solid frames to grow into! I like this strategy of going with more athletic guys who can grow into their frames instead of needing guys to trim down.
