It is pretty amazing how quickly Wells passed up everyone on the pitching staff not named Kavan in just her true freshman year. That's part a testament to her talent and part how non-elite the rest of the staff is. It's a good thing Kavan is one of the top 5 pitchers in college.

Not as a true freshman, but I've seen glimpses of what she can become in a couple of years if the staff develops her.

Is Wells that good? Frahm is elite and basically carries Nebraska.

Hannah is a special player. She has a chance to become Jordy Frahm 2.0.

I have lived in several places outside of Texas and have been to both Minnesota and Wisconsin in the summer and winter. Don’t choose winter unless you are forced to. Both states aren’t bad in the summer and have a lot of outdoor activities and better weather than most parts of Texas in the summer.
