  1. Past hour
  2. Remember watching The Good, the Bad and the Ugly with my dad around 1984 when I was twelve. We watched every week because it came on every week then. Dad loved Clint. So he'd stay up on Friday night to watch it with me because I asked him to watch it with me. Father served three tours in Vietnam. Reminded me of Rocky stuff then.
  3. Today
  4. Which takes me to nonsense talk. MJ and Kobe were skilled enough to score anywhere on the court from twenty-five feet and in. Brick gotta be within five or beyond twenty. Why? He lacks skill. Power, explosive, size. Not skill.
  5. Watched an interview with Chris Beard on an Ole Miss site yesterday. They asked him why he emphasizes the mid range game rather than making his players shoot nothing but "analytical" threes and lay-ups. He said the two greatest players of all time, MJ and Kobe, were greatest in the mid range.
  6. Our incoming freshman class is really strong. Hannah Wells (Pitcher, Power Hitter utility Fielder) won the Gatorade POY. https://playeroftheyear.gatorade.com/winner/hannah-wells/41013 From the Gatorade POY webpage on Hannah Wells…. The 6-foot senior right-handed pitcher led the Bulldogs (35-1) to the 3A Division II state championship this past season, the program’s third straight state title. Wells compiled a record of 22-1 in the circle with a 0.44 earned run average and struck out 258 batters in 127.2 innings pitched, recording 67 percent of her outs by way of the K. She recorded 15 shutouts in 23 starts, including a no-hitter and two perfect games. Wells also batted .602 with 75 RBI and a state single-season record 31 home runs, bringing her career total to a state-record 86 long balls. She mashed 48 extra-base hits in 108 at-bats, slugging 1.639 to post an OPS of 2.287 and an isolated power percentage of 1.037.
  7. Great manly stuff. Raja Bell v Kobe Bryant 2006.
  8. Hannah Wells was recently named national Gatorade Player of the Year.
  9. Title IX guarantees access not comp. Revenue sharing will rule the day.
  10. There's already a Title IX lawsuit. It's not likely to change much. This is revenue based, not athletic opportunity based.
  11. Waiting for the Title IX suits to drop when/if universities allocate 95% or more of the $20.5 million to men's sports - that will be another bonanza for the lawyers
  12. One, Stanford, if they chose to.
  13. I know Wells was pitcher of the year or something, not sure if it was an esteemed panel that voted her that or just some dude. We also know a lot of services didn’t have her as a top prospect so what do we know? I guess don’t assume she is going to come in and be a factor. Wait and see.
  14. Aggie probably just offered double us lol
  15. So it begins. This should be interesting.
  16. Yea Wells, can also hit. Question is whether it translates from a small school or flame out like Simpson did. Simpson came in as a freshmen expecting to compete for Texas records.
  17. I wouldn’t mind seeing Heitner take a loss on this one.
  18. Didn’t we sign some bad ass freshman pitcher?
  19. I want to win it all partly just to see Bobby mayo that corny dog. OTF gonna get its highest views EV3R that day.
  20. One of the best still available in the portal after tech’s haul. i would have liked the pitcher from ucla as well to give Kavan some help but Georgia picked her up, former #1 recruit. Guess they are hoping Wells is the real deal. Still have Cambria and Citlaly as well.
  21. That’s Gerry Himilton for you
  22. Hi's must be for Aggy when the money whip out guys again🤣🤣
  23. I bet Goode goes back to 2B and either Martinez to 3B or Crabtree to 3B (either could be SS or 3B). Bennett just wasn’t consistent at the plate or in the field.
