Couple of Q's with a 2027 QB for Texas 1. Would you "overpay" if forced for a QB that won't likely see the field for two years? 2. Any 2027 QB considering Texas will have to be comfortable with the possibility of not playing for two years, and being more on the development side early on solely. Don't think too many guys will think like that.

For 2026? Nope. Texas really likes their young guys on the OL. If they can flip Malakai Lee, that's the one.

Not going to Honolulu this week. The hope is to get Lee back on campus in November with Kamehameha High regular season ending in late October.

Wesley is a bigger body/frame player. Richard Wesley will be 6-4.5/6-5 and 270'ish Dre Quinn has longer arms. Will be 6-4, 250-255. That would be two tremendous EDGE prospects in a class following Lance Jackson and Smith Orogbo, with Justus Terry as a hybrid EDGE/DT

There is a strong level of confidence in the Longhorns probability to beat out Tennessee for the 6-foot-4, 228-pound pass rusher that will be a three-down player. Quinn has 26 tackles, 7 TFL's and 2 sacks in five games this season.
