  1. Past hour
  2. He was our leading receiver and on pace for over a 1000 yards until the ankle. He was going to be a day 2 pick until this came up.
  3. Well, good for him. Hopefully, he didn't actually do anything terrible yet also grows and matures from this.
  4. Nevermind LOL — wow, the Browns. Should be interesting.
  5. That was my thought process, too. At first I was thinking they'll have Manning for 2 more years, Lacey for two years, then Bell for two years. However, when Ewers returned for last season, that most likely means Arch for two years (with Owens portaling out after this upcoming season), Lacey a one and done, then Bell for two years. I can see why (along with a much bigger NIL offer) Bryant would consider a school other than Texas and Texas ends up taking a Trey Owens type of QB prospect and allocating more money to OL, DL, and DB in the 2027 cycle. Plus more money to allocate to a top QB prospect in the 2028 cycle. Imo it's too early to see how the QB situation plays out after the Manning years. You also have to wonder besides possible injuries how long Sark sticks around after 2026 as well. Fingers crossed it all works out and Texas gets fantastic QB play for the rest of the 2020s and beyond on the way to hopefully one of the best periods in Texas football history.
  6. Blake — I assume any team would value his speed and traits — but if you had to pick a team or two who Bond would excel with, who would it be?
  7. The ankle injury happens, his underwhelminf season and then this case was just the icing on top of him not getting drafted.
  8. I would not want to be the one to make that decision.
  9. Best-case scenario, KJ starts and plays for one year. In that case, Dia would have to sit for two years before starting, similar to Arch Manning’s path.
  10. Tim Tebow the all time best QB? Are you f'ing kidding me???
  11. And Selvin Young wore #22. At least he had the decency to win a natty! Shoot, post VY, I think it was James Kirkendoll who wore #10 for a year. Talk about sacrilegious...
  12. Today
  13. I think KJ will start at least one year. If Sark can get Dia on the Arch timeline, I could see KJ starting two full seasons. I’m that high on him, even with Dia having much higher upside.
  14. No shade on Quinn but if he would have left last year this would be Arch's last year making KJ next years starter and Dia waiting one more year and possibily Bryant doing the same
  15. This reminds me of the other night when I was laying awake in bed and this thought randomly popped into my head: if #22 was retired for Bobby Layne, how the hell was Ryan Nunez wearing it back in the 90s? I had to look it up, apparently Layne's number wasn't retired until 2008 (along with VY's #10). You know we are getting close to football season when thoughts like that are keeping you up at night.
  16. The day I'm not looking forward to is when Sark will have to decide between KJ or Dia.
  17. I could be getting way ahead of myself, But what i have concluded from bringing in Matthew Caldwell, to sarks comments about trey needing to be more consistent and the raving reviews on KJ is the the portal is becoming more and more of a possibility for trey owens next spring or fall.
  18. The impact will most likely come from the transfers. Aiden Robbins (OF) transferred to Texas and has a chance to be really good. He won the Cape Cod summer league batting title. One pitcher to watch is true freshman Sam Cozart. He performed well the West Virginia Black Bears in the MLB Draft summer league. He started 4 games, 19 IP, 2.37 ERA, 26 strikeouts, and 2 BB.
  19. I would love it if your right.
