  1. Past hour
  2. Join us for Coffee and Football at 8:15 AM (give or take a few… probably give), as we talk the latest Longhorns news coming out of the weekend.
  3. We are exactly 75 days away from Texas heading to tOSU to take on the Buckeyes. Who is your favorite No. 75? Trey Hopkins Octavious Bishop
  4. Today
  5. Now that's a great thumbnail image
  6. I want the guy that really wants to be a horn... Sark and Flood will figure out the particulars.
  7. I disagree. When NFL fixed adjusted salaries for draft picks and nil came into play this is a whole new monster. You get a 3 year guarantee for 7.5 with incentives to hit 11-15 million like Mark Bowman it's a no brainer to sign. Life changing money. What NFL signing money? You need to hit a second contract sooner without open negotiations as a draft pick.
  8. I just stumbled upon Texas one fund YouTube page. I had no idea it existed. They have some fantastic long form interviews with the likes of Ant, Simmons, KJ, CJ, Arch, Moore. Looks like they just started releasing the videos a few days ago. If you haven’t year check it out, a great look at personalities of players I haven’t seen anywhere else.
  9. Straight up what I was thinking when I saw the tweet
  10. Ryan Williams and it’s not even close. We’ve got way too many “ i hopes” at that position.
  11. Close to half of all five star recruits aren't even drafted into the NFL and some of those drafted are taken in the later rounds, where the guaranteed money is relatively paltry. What is Quinn's deal with the Dolphins worth? I can remember a couple of # 1 overall recruits who didn't even make it to the league. Once an NIL deal goes much over say $2 million you're talking about real money.
  12. Jake Slaughter from Florida and put him at center and move Hutson to LG.
  13. Multi millions out of HS for someone who has never had anything is big signing money, period. If they make nfl that’s just icing on the cake and an extra slice
  14. The big signing money is the NFL signing money, not NIL. This is not 1955 anymore.
  15. I don't believe in any enforcement of this at all.
  16. All deals have to made public as of last week or something. I could be off but I thought I read that
  17. Not totally sure how the house settlement works for 2026 recruits. I believe if contracts are written before July 1st you can throw out all “pay for play” deal that doesn’t have to adhere to the house settlement. If that is the case A$M may have offered him too good of package to pass up.
  18. A&M is falling into the same trap they’ve done time & time again. Sometimes (in A&M’s case all the time) it’s not worth breaking the bank on a recruit like that.
  19. If sark REALLY wants him, I’d be suprised if he doesn’t end up a longhorn. We’ll see what happens, but I do really hope we land him by signing day.
  20. DT Caleb Banks at Florida OT Kadyn Proctor at Bama S KJ Bolden at Georgia
  21. Lamar Brown is going to end up on UT and LSU (and likely others) during the season
  22. Their class is going to be good but not that good
  23. lol it won’t even be close to that good. Texas will have a better DL haul
