  1. Past hour
  2. No doubt. Especially with the spring portal closing, we won’t really get much of a look at the new players or what the team looks like holistically for some time.
  3. Agreed! I think one thing that is also being missed among all the anxiety to sign a team of all-stars at each position is that this team was extremely close. The offense was finally hitting some peaks, the OL was holding up pretty okay despite its obvious flaws, and the D completely shut A&M down. We are patching up the D and I feel very confident that Muschamp will pull in at least one high-level LB. As high as our expectations were for the 2025 D, it wasn’t even close to as dominant as we expected it to be. All we need is for the pass D to marginally improve. On offense, we don’t need the 1990s Dallas Cowboys OL—we need marginal improvements. Baker and Goosby will be better versions of themselves. The real question is, can we find an upgrade over Hutson? I think the answer is clearly yes. Can we find an upgrade over Campbell? That might be more dicey. So, put another way: can we find one really good IOL in the portal and another 1-2 that are at least marginal upgrades over Hutson/Robertson? I feel optimistic. I still think we can come away with an upgrade at RB. Wisner and Baxter, as much as I loved them, were incredibly inconsistent. There are 3-4 guys still in the portal (maybe more to come, eg Haynes) that would be upgrades. Again, this is fine margins. If we can marginally upgrade our roster at key positions, it means we will have put ourselves in a position to get back to the playoff and more.
  4. Another OL that Kyle flood could not develop
  5. Prayers up for the Shipley family. Life is precious.
  6. I wish they still had spring games. So people can see the talent that we have on the roster and not freak out when we miss on one commit. Sark will find a way to get guys we need.
  7. Gonna be a few good days!
  8. Great topic! I found 3 losers to ban!!! Two more came really close. Sad day for OTF. They almost need to vet these newcomers and trolls. Most will go away when their dollar expires! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  9. Thank goodness it is so easy to find linemen that develop into pros. Have you offered your services? Anyway, here is what Flood has accomplished in his career- Below is the updated list of his developed linemen, categorized by All-American and All-Conference (1st or 2nd Team) honors. University of Texas (2021–Present) The Texas front under Flood has been defined by the development of highly-rated recruits into elite college starters and NFL prospects. 10. Another good LB prospect. I think him and the Wisconsin guy would be great additions if they can pull it off.
  11. Prayers sent for Jordan and his friends and family 🙏
  12. True, but Williams was shakey. It was an experiment for him that was dimming.
  13. You forgot to fill the In part...
  14. Actually Stroh could move the biggest of the Texas DL. He lacked lateral quickness to be a guard or tackle. I wished that Texas would have tried him at Center where lateral quickness is not required. No opposing line man pushed him backwards.
  15. Debatable. Both were pretty locked in with Oregon before he left. Then we were took advantage of that and swooped in.
  16. I would like to see us capitalize on this portal and leave no doubt. Last year, sark and co. without a doubt left a bunch out there and that caused us to have the season we had (Still a good season btw). It was just clear we didn't do enough in the portal. Example - zachariah branch. Lets get it going
  17. Williams was likely to return to Texas either way.
  18. Prayers for the Jordan and family.
  19. You have no clue. Cojoe was doing well until he tore his ACL. A lot of your described "busts" are good players who decided to go elsewhere for playing time. To call them busts is insulting.
  20. Your posts are f’ing terrible. Aggy trolling no doubt.
  21. Stud, yes. Playing speed and strike ability Future NFL LB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy41PC3i8hg
  22. Today
  23. The football team is NOT like the basketball program at all. We have one down year (still 10 wins) yet people are acting like we went 5-7. Basketball definitely needs more NIL help, But can they get it in the issue.
  24. Probably not a lot of demand for someone who looked like a shell of themselves after injury. Hopefully the more distance from that tear the better he will be on that knee.
