This season cannot get here quick enough. By early August, the love and hate for all things Texas (and Arch) will be at another level. Will be interesting to see where Texas and Ohio State both land in first AP and Coach’s poll, going into week 1. I’m predicting Texas #1 (based on our overall defense and hype for Arch on offense) with Ohio State at #2 to start the season. Regardless of rankings, Ohio State should still be favored around the same 3 points as they are currently.

I don’t know. We know his dad is a horn through and through. This is a case that if we are in the ballpark maybe not outright top nil we might have a chance. Would love him in the class.

Let's see how much ground Texas can cover here. If Oregon is comparable to the USC offer on the table, this is going to be tough for Texas to win outright.

4-star++ Jalen Lott update Texas is trying to make up ground in the race for 4-star++ WR Jalen Lott (Frisco, Texas/Panther Creek). Steve Sarkisian and multiple staff members have been in constant contact with the family this week. USC and Oregon had considerably higher NIL offers out to the Texas legacy as of late last weekend. Texas has not stepped up to where it’s a competitive race. Lott is scheduled to make his announcement July 8. If OnTexasFootball were handicapping the race on July 1: 1. Oregon 2. Texas 🔼 3. USC 🔽
