  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder if pitching is in his future during the regionals??
  3. Definitely Texas being up 17-0 at A&M. Then winning 17-7. The A&M build up after all the years of not playing plus year one in the SEC was fever pitch. And there was a lot on the line in the game. Texas win was a tone setter for UT athletics domination of the Aggies in the return of the hated-rivalry
  4. But Nash averaged ten assists per game, so you must give him the MVP. I mean, Magic averaged 14 assists without winning the MVP, but you gotta bow down to the voters.
  5. I agree with the Clemson game as well that was fire to watch and it was a home playoff game 🤘
  6. "He speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Slovenian. Half our players don't speak English."
  7. My favorite play of the year was the 4th down stop against the Aggies in the 4th quarter 🤘🤘. But that 4 and 13 was 2nd for me
  8. Facing Clemson was a great viewing experience. I love it when teams who have never faced each other meet. Was great to see two teams with iconic logos and solid programs square off. Hope to see UT schedule more “unique” opponents like Penn State or Florida State. Something new. SEC opener against Miss State was also up there
  9. I wouldn’t be saying this if we didn’t win most likely lol, but that Arizona St game with all the twists and turns, 4th and 13 was just an awesome football game especially with the victory! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
  10. Today
  11. Jerry West: "I got this kid. He's gonna be the best player in the world. We gonna win multiple titles with this boy leading the way."
  12. I’m not sure if anyone has done this yet. But what was your favorite game this year? I’ve been rewatching games and for me it’s Texas vs little brother
  13. Pre-daft nonsense in May 1996 was that Kobe was too weak. He couldn't shoot against defensive pressure. He couldn't beat ball pressure off the dribble. I remember Jerry West saying they're nuts on draft night. He's the best player I've ever seen. He literally beat every player we've put him against, and he's only 17. That's why you gotta trust what you see rather than bs stuff you hear. Of course, by that time I knew Jerry West was more trustworthy than any idiot in the media.
  14. I hope Jonah's starting every game in the postseason.
  15. I've heard a lot about our "easy" schedule. Our opponents were 123-107 against all foes other than UT. Not sure the SEC was "Texas ready". 😂
  16. Even though we lost game two, watching Schloss go out and joke around with the boys before going to Grubbs was great. He's the coolest Texas coach.
  17. Bird was one of the greatest players ever. Against the Lakers he was a liability because of Worthy. Jerry West drafted James Worthy to kill Bird. Now, the Lakers had Kareem and Magic too. But Worthy was the difference on the wing and in the post against Bird or McHale. That's why the Lakers beat the Celtics two out of three in the 80s. West traded for the draft rights to Kobe to kill everyone.
  18. Don't know yet. Some things in play ... NIL requests, agent/player expectations, etc... Texas feels very good about where the roster is, and wants to add the correct final piece for multiple years ideally.
  19. Timetable on that Herry asking for a friend
  20. Two spots remain. Texas is expected to use one for sure. That remains in play, yes.

  23. Someone asked me about the defense. You couldn't double at this time. You had to play man. Celtics couldn't defend Worthy man on man in the post. It's not like now where you just pack the paint and switch double or flood the pick and roll. Rules wouldn't let you do that then. That's why the paint is open and there's much more movement on the ball with only one defender. They changed the rule about man defense because the rest of the league got tired of Kobe and Shaq killing them one on one.
  24. Like the pick up. The kid looks long and athletic… nice fro to boot. Damn we gettin’ big.
  25. Real basketball. Game 1 1987 NBA Finals.
