  1. Past hour
  2. Great information! Not a lot of folks are aware of how the sport works. The races were very contested. I figured Stanford would be elite given the talent and maturity of their crews. Didn't know a lot about Yale. Really didn't waste any energy with each boat. Really an entertaining watch on ncaa.com. Our crews should be among the top 2026 teams, especially with this season's growth. SEC creating a championship really helps, especially with getting to compete with Tennessee regularly. Hook 'em!
  3. Just shows you how good D1 athletes are
  4. Me, too. Doesn’t she have over 300 pitches already? I know over 100 pitches per game is typical in softball, but jeez…
  5. We have GOT to get better at SS for sure.
  6. I’m curious if all the innings catch up to Canady here at the end?
  7. Chris Hacopian. I would watch that one imo.
  8. SS from Maryland C from Notre Dame OF from WKU went in, had a great season. Not sure on that one
  9. I believe the future is very bright for Texas baseball and overall this was a great regular season albeit a disappointing ending. Trust in the coaching staff and the culture. Hook Em!
  10. Texas walked off Stanford and Canady last year in the WCWS 1–0 in large part because of an error on a rundown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FS8DS2FWEQ
  11. Blake, is there anybody currently in the portal we should be keeping an eye on?
  12. That should be enough.
  13. First team to 3 runs wins these type of games
  14. Thanks, Blake. Can you project from this season’s roster who you expect to leave for MLB (or who is just out of eligibility). I’m trying to become informed on what next season’s line-up projects to. Thank you for all you do for Texas baseball fans.
  15. Lord have mercy this one will be a nail biter series.
  16. Do they have end of year meetings similar to the football team?
  17. Also ou fans claiming that they don’t have home field advantage because it’s not in Norman is either ignorant or arrogant, probably both. its probably above their education level to understand that logistically it’s easier for their fans to go to the game because it’s in their home state and the drive is likely shorter than from Dallas to Austin, especially for weekday games when most people have to work or take time off. You average fan wouldn’t be able to say - hey let’s go watch the wcws on a whim.
  18. Will this thread include new Longhorns as well as outgoing?
  19. As I said in the insider notes, I expect four players to announce their intent to transfer very soon. Three of those have now happened. - OF Matt Scott - OF Donovan Jordan - LHP Chance Covert None of those were on the postseason roster. The one I’m waiting on is, however.
  20. Today
  21. Texas. Texas Tech. Teagan Kavan. Nijaree Canady. The 2025 Women's College World Series is set! The best of three will decide the sport's next National Champion and for the first time in five years, it won't be Oklahoma.
