  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe he should "point" at someone, refs don't seem to like that either lol.
  3. Could've read the room and kept your contrary opinion to yourself.
  4. Cooper’s opponent had a 5 star edge (Maryland commit) and a 5 star safety (bama commit) as well as numerous other D commits. Hr still got off a few solid runs. He has great hands, is ok in pass pro and runs hard and falls forward. His team was outmatched but you could tell he will be something special with a good line. His QB was a freshman as well so they were stacking the box.
  5. All I have to say is … football is back!! Going to be a long week waiting for the Horns.
  6. His o line got dominated, which didn’t help him at all. He showed flashes for sure, but they over powered from the start. They won’t face another opponent that good all season, however. What impressed me the most was his willingness to get dirty and block. Dude was involved every play, even when he wasn’t touching the ball. Loved to see that.
  7. Poor coaching on both ends. On first down Hawai'i tried an end zone shot right sideline into double coverage before realizing they could run the ball, force Stanford to take their timeouts and kick the 3 leaving very little time remaining. For some reason Coach Reich held onto his time outs except for one to ice a kicker as the clock expired with the kick. No excuses for not using all of your resources.
  8. Those are not gonna be fun flights back for K State or Stanford.
  9. I still don’t get why you don’t call a timeout and give yourself at least a chance (super small chance but nothing wrong with living on a prayer). For a school full of incredibly smart people, that was incredibly dumb. You basically went from a 1% chance to win the game to a 0.00% chance.
  10. Matsuzawa is a crazy story with learning to kick from YouTube. Hawaii QB is tough AF. Hats off to him. Down goes Stanford!
  11. Why wouldn’t Stanford call a timeout? Incredibly stupid.
  12. Just finished Chaminade Madonna game and tuning in for the ending!
  13. Tie game with two minutes left. Hawai'i vs Stanford week 0... Where legends are born!
  14. Today
  15. They were utterly decimated by the portal over the last 3-4 years, but especially this spring.
  16. Prosper and Rockwall Heath is another that might be pretty good.
  17. Longview and Marshall is another, but a bit further.
  18. Highland Park vs Lucas Lovejoy Anna vs Gunter These both will be great games too!
  19. Right off the bat I see South Oak Cliff @ Duncanville. Make the 40 mile drive and go see that. Or make the 75 mile drive and go see DeSoto @ North Crowley (Texas OL commit John Turntine) Both are chalked full of talent. Cant go wrong with either game. Your other somewhat close (within 65ish miles) options would be… Gilmer vs Chapel Hill Celina vs Waco La Vega Terrell vs Frisco Heritage Frisco Memorial vs Woodrow Wilson Waxahachie vs Coppell Tyler vs Tyler Legacy If you’re wanting something smaller I can look at those, but those first two I listed is what I would do
  20. Let me take a look for that area on Sept 5. I’ll let you know.
  21. Apparently Stanford was recruiting John Turntine to be their starting Quarterback. This has been pathetic. 18 passing attempts for 47 yards against Hawai'i. Stanford receivers haven't been helpful either but this program has fallen a long way. Andrew Luck has a lot of work ahead of him with HC Frank Reich. Safe to say Sam Houston States defense will be BBQ chicken for Texas offense.
  22. QUINN looks good tonight.
  23. Now THERE'S a word I haven't heard or read in a while and a half! Me too. Hook 'Em!
  24. I don't watch much high school football... only the Texas state championships in December. I gave up on Dia Bell's team and checked out at halftime. Saw the thread today... WOW! I had believed Bell was impressive based on past highlights and his OTF interview. Now I suppose he's off the charts. As mentioned, since I don't watch high school games, a performance like Bell's reminds me how impressive the Longhorns coaches are in scouting and evaluating recruits. Congratulations to Dia Bell on the victory! And Hook 'Em, Dia!
