In this case it seems to be the coach cdc got his guy and its odd that basketball was in a worst spot when schloss got here and now its in a better spot than schloss after 1 year. This is definitely on schloss cause it takes much less to get an elite baseball roster he is not doing what he needs to. him getting lockered in portal and aggy taking his coach is a bad look

That says a lot about the current baseball NIL. His former coach couldn’t even help get him to Texas. I get the name on the jersey is a huge selling point, but this isn’t 2005. Money has to be there for Schloss. Every now and then they have to match and overpay a need. They few they have a really good but this is a pretty big miss.

I like it when they have the same number over multiple years, for multiple reasons (as I get older it’s easier to remember). It seems like more players change their numbers throughout their time at Texas in more recent history. I think those that switch often (every year), make a particular number less synonymous with that player.

Same with basketball. Texas could have a 2006-07 Florida season in the two money makers. That would be a pretty sweet way for CDC to win his first natties in the big three sports during his tenure at Texas.

So 2 years ago it was people weren’t donating because they didn’t like David Pierce. Then we get the best coach available now we want to blame him too for NIL. If the same thing is happening under two different regimes, perhaps it isn’t the coaches fault. This fanbase is really good about raising and spending hypothetical NIL money.

We’re still going to be really good next year. It sucks to miss on laya but we’re fine

The AUSL won’t pay as much NIL, so I think most college softball players will play all five years before they go pro if that’s something they want to do after college.

I will say, I will not care about this if our football team wins the natty. I’m fine with allocating everything to football so long as we win it all.

We have 3 of the top 50 transfers, per Kiley McDaniel. Second most behind LSU and Mississippi State, who both have 4.

I’d be shocked if they didn’t have backup plans.

But can the salary match the NIL?

They literally just went to the CWS.

Texas didn’t get lockered for both. Laya was more NIL. Donate. The other was a completely different situation. It is what it is.
