Ohio St. names Sayin as starter

Didn’t you say earlier that Arch would struggle to pass in front of 100,000 people and likely would only have success with his legs? You can’t have it both ways my guy. And if you think OSU will be -5.5, remember one thing. Don’t Get High Off Your Own Supply. -

Beau Atkinson had 7.5 sacks himself last season as a backup at North Carolina. But please don’t take my “unearned hype for Arch” as the insult it comes across as. There’s a very real chance Arch earns that hype against my Buckeyes. There’s a reason Texas are the favorites to win the national championship. Vegas loves Texas’ D and Vegas believes Arch is the real deal. -

I personally don’t see the irony in it. All of those guys have played hundreds more snaps than Arch. Arch’s toughest start came vs a Mississippi State team that was blown out by Toledo. -

Playing Texas week one is much better for Ohio State though. Offensive line takes the longest to gel and become a cohesive unit. -
No doubt. Good Point, we lost 14 to the NFL draft. Lots of questions to be answered. Frankly, I wish we were playing you guys week 3 or 4 instead. Guessing Texas would prefer to also play us after a couple tune ups so your newer O-line has tie to gel. Minimize mistakes by the QB and solid play in the trenches or a critical turnover most likely decide the outcome.

7/87 keeps the chains moving, I call it a big game against the Long Horns. If Texas brackets Smith with help over the top again, then we will just check down to Tate/Klare/Innis or a RB. Plenty of talent to distribute the ball too. OSU is wide Receiver U. The challenge vs Texas is can we keep Sayin upright long enough to deliver the ball to our play makers and can Sayin delver on the big stage. Won't know until 8/30.... https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/40734302/how-ohio-state-became-wide-receiver-u

Interesting. And ironic. True on the unearned hype for Arch. Yet yall are hyping Klare and his 4 career TDs. You’re hyping your 3 returning DLine guys with their total of 8 sacks or whatever. Your interior oline. All unearned as well. You didn’t just lose talent. You lost a lot, of not just starters, but multi-year starters from your better unit. -
nope, wasn't me. I'm one of those opposing fans that actually understands that the other guys can have great players also and not every player on my team is better than every player on your team. Both these teams have stacked rosters with great talent. Same with coaches, I'm a Sark fan always have been but our guy is pretty good too. Endries is a good football player and was a nice pick up for you guys. I guess we're so happy to have Klare is that's a proven talent that's gonna complement well our threats on the outside and not something we utilized alot last year. Sort of like a new toy that will goes really well with the other shiny toys in the box. I think he's going to add another dimension to the offense

It could be. I think it’ll be OSU -5.5 by game-time. A lot of casual bettors right now who believe Ohio State is the only team in this matchup to lose talent from last year’s game. Also, a lot of unearned Arch hype right now. Professionals are going to let this line drop as much as possible and then hammer Ohio State at 9am on 8/30. -

These people have a mental disease. Can’t take a joke, think everything is a slight, don’t understand how reporting works. Guarantee that every other reporter covering another SEC team at SEC Media Days asked a question to the Aggies that relates back to the school they cover. I have razorback and sooner in-laws (and they always take their shots and love to talk) but my goodness they don’t complain at all like the Aggies. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with them 😂
