General time frame for recovery on a "bone bruise" is anywhere from 3/4 WEEKS - 4 MONTHS per my orthopedic doctor..... completely depends on how bad the bruise is and the athlete.....

Not a doctor but all we heard was the bruise so would think anything tissue/ligament is ok.

Would imagine it's fully dependent upon pain management and how comfortable he is. I will say I got a hip pointer in high school and I thought I was going to die. Still able to play through it once you start moving but it can hurt pretty bad.

Are all ligament concerns off the table or still waiting?

I’m no doctor but if the pain is less than yesterday I would assume it’s a mild bone bruise and he’s just out a few weeks. Potentially GTD for Ohio State.
