I have seen some of the reports regarding RB Tre Wisner and his status for 2026 and wanted to offer my latest: Conversations are still being had behind the scenes, avenues are still being explored and final decision has yet to be made. That is of 7:00 p.m. Thursday night. I am told that anything being reported as a definite is incorrect at the moment. While I lean towards Wisner returning to Texas, there remain some necessary conversations to be had.

I personally have not, but I am sure there are some interesting trend lines here. -
C.J Vogel's Dating Red Flags And Football Recruiting

Based off of what my grandma and mom have been telling me, there's only marrying flags to look at! I don't have much more time to waste according to them! -
PK did a very good job. Remember some fans wanted to run him off after his first season, but the defense was good after that first season. Good luck PK

I love the move personally. Sark wants an attacking defense like Kirby fields at Georgia. Nobody better than Coach Boom to roll it out. This is about getting Texas over the Georgia hump and winning it all. Very gutsy move by Sark. But I hope he is prepared to go ALL IN on his side of the ball too, because his offenses have not been even close to good enough since he’s been at Texas.

Agreed, Thank you PK for a great few years here. I actually grew to trust our defense to not completely collapse and lose the game for us. Far better than what we got from Charlie Strong, far better than Todd Orlando, and Chris Ash. Although I do think he (Ash) was doing good with what we had at the time. Vance Bedford was fun to watch in a press conference. Sucked otherwise. Thanks for not sucking PK. Even though you kept our corners 10 yards off the line..

Thanks for posting this, seems like everyone likes to kick him on the way out but he did great here at Texas and I'm very thankful for him. Wish him nothing but the best and he will 100% land on his feet somewhere.

Amen!! Very well said!! I hope he’s moving forward and to an opportunity to be a head coach maybe Utah!!!

Provided stability and an identity for this team to fall back on as the offense juggled injuries and inconsistency. Forever appreciative for him taking this defense to elite levels. Gave us something really good to build upon in a transition to a more aggressive/physical style that we frankly were not equipped to run his first few years. The Rivalry Chessmaster. Hope the best for him (unless he's coaching against Texas).

What an amazing few years at Texas. No doubt our D played a massive role in B2B CFB appearances and Big 12 title. Don't think headlines should say 'fired.' We should all be fired from our current jobs if that is the yardstick. Hope his move is linked to other good opportunities/ fits. Regardless - thank you coach!

https://x.com/TransferPortal/status/2001750051660435797?s=20 not sure he fits since we already have a bunch of promising yunguns, but an interesting guy nonetheless Would be awesome to take a bunch of young development guys (assuming they dont take money from our needed starters/depth) with the move to 105. This guy likely too much, but lots of young talent entering -
Boom! This is a big one.

So who do you fire for the average to below average offense? Apparently that is acceptable but "good" defense isn't "good" enough? When PK's D carried this team in '23 and '24. Even in parts of '25. Yes he has his issues, but unless there behinds the scenes issues, I don't see why this is a good thing. Has Muscahmp coached defense at a high level in recent years? That's a genuine question not me throwing shade. Anyway, best of luck to PK. Loved what he did at Texas and despite his misgivings, was never a problem at Texas. Hope he lands somewhere and succeeds. Let's see what Muschamp can do.
