VY was also consistently failing the eye test.. people were crying for him to switch to play TE or WR. Arch is on a historically great trajectory - stats wise and quality of wins wise. We need to support and believe in him..!!

Here is the side-by-side comparison of their statistics through their first 19 career starts: Arch Manning · Record (Top 10 Opps): 16-3 (4-2) · Passing: 358/573 (62.4%), 4,633 yards, 41 TD, 11 INT (148.7 rating) · Rushing: 130 carries, 588 yards, 13 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 5,221 / 54 Colt McCoy · Record (Top 10 Opps): 14-5 (0-2) · Passing: 354/530 (66.8%), 4,148 yards, 39 TD, 17 INT (150.4 rating) · Rushing: 105 carries, 248 yards, 2 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 4,396 / 41 Vince Young · Record (Top 10 Opps): 16-3 (0-2) · Passing: 205/346 (59.2%), 2,593 yards, 16 TD, 17 INT (127.6 rating) · Rushing: 249 carries, 1,621 yards, 16 TD · Total Yards / Total TDs: 4,214 / 32

Last year the view was that we lost limited production/ leadership to the portal compared to other programs. Looking at other programs in Sec/ Big 10 it does look like we have lost more compared to other teams this year. A. Would you agree? B. If yes, what is driving this and why are coaching stability/ results on field/ NFL picks/ NIL $s not helping us retain? C. If not, in your view, which other major programs with coaching continuity have lost more than us to the portal?

What an amazing few years at Texas. No doubt our D played a massive role in B2B CFB appearances and Big 12 title. Don't think headlines should say 'fired.' We should all be fired from our current jobs if that is the yardstick. Hope his move is linked to other good opportunities/ fits. Regardless - thank you coach!

Hi Mods, Is Texas still looking to bring in transfers in the Jan portal window? 1. Any players left on the board that we would be keen to take a look at? 2. Are teams still allowed to contact players and bring them in for OVs as part of Jan portal window?

Golden, Bond..

Thank you CJ.. guess we gotta find that missing DL piece somewhere else then 😀

Would we have interest in any BC players? Would they be allowed to transfer to Texas at this point in the semester?

Notice that 3 fours star DL players from LSU, SMU and MSU seem uncommitted. Would Texas have interest in any?
