I’m sure they’ll cross train Baker since he’s the swing OT, but I’m sure they’ll get him tons of guard reps first and foremost. Start of Spring, I’d guess: LT - Chatman / Turntine LG - Baker / Christian C - Robertson / Sikorski RG - *Portal / Sikorski or Coleman RT - Siani / Newman Ultimately, I believe Chatman is probably the backup LG, but for Spring he probably needs to take LT snaps so that Baker can get LG reps. I went to Knoxville to see the Vols play a&m in 2023. It was their checker board game and the atmosphere was great. Tennessee pulled it out in the 4th quarter which was nice too. But they really pack you in there like sardines.

Well we offered guys, brought some in but the reality is not everyone entering had interest in coming here. That happens. Not like the staff didn’t try to get guys…. People act like the coaches neglected the interior OL on purpose cause they are blind to the need there.

That’s true. But What is falling on deaf ears for most is we identified the top targets. Went hard after them. At that position of need and fell short. Effort to land the best OL guys is and was there. It’s not been ignored. I transferred for a sport to Texas, and it’s effing difficult…much easier to stay ant first school. Anyway. Texas tried to big game hunt, & we are all learning you don’t just pluck anyone you want. I also think there’s still what 5-6k players in said portal?

What’s upsetting is how OL and particularly IOL was talked ad nauseam about being priority number one and will be absolutely addressed. Signing one dude with a handful of starts at Oregon state is not that. Yes we got a haul of dudes from the portal to be very excited about but it’s still very disappointing the way OL was addressed.

I don’t know how realistic it is, but Burrow wants out of Cincy, Stroud can go back to Ohio! Separately, my friend is drunk on koolaid and thinks the Texans will keep stroud and be able to tank for Arch.
