Saying all the right things. Anyone else ready for Ohio St?!? -
“That organization can be self-sustaining—and generate additional funding to protect Olympic and women’s sports—by pooling all Division I media rights to be sold together as one package, rather than separating them by conference and championship, as they are now.” Of course he wants a piece of the SEC/B1G media pie. Tech will never be valuable on its own.

Ohio St. names Sayin as starter

Absolutely. Not only are they experienced and have played in big moments, the reporting out of spring and fall camps is that they have all taken the next steps in their games as well. Ohio State should have the better DT’s in this matchup. Texas will have the better edges and most likely better linebackers, although Ohio State’s linebackers are going to be nasty as well. -
Reworked is fine, but these kids are legit players with a ton of experience, if not starts. Every one of this years "starters" on the DL played meaningful snaps in last years Cotton Bowl. Kenyatta Jacksoon DE played almost the entire 1st half after JTT went down early and another KMac DT was in the game on the 4th qtr stand at the goal line. They performed very well then, on the biggest of stages at crunch time and I have no problems putting these kids on the field against anybody anywhere

I am an expert on human behavior, although I try not to brag about it. So I notice things that others never will. Such as, I don't think Pinkman80 likes closetojumping very much. -
I think he is putting his money into something that he is passionate about. Frankly, he is the first to take a visible, active stand. While I don't necessarily agree with some of his conclusions or his focus, I applaud his effort. Essentially, he is advocating that the current NCAA division 1 model is unworkable. In fact, I think he is advocating that Division 1 should consist only of institutions that can support a certain "lifestyle" (defined: think SEC level money). These "big-boy' institutions should then create their own organization. If you can't pay the monthly dues, you can't join the Club! Where he stops short (or doesn't have the vision) is dealing with non-football. (the Big Picture) All of this is just banter, unless, in the end, you have a 48 school (or so) group (the Big Boy Conference) that operates under its own set of rules.... for all the sports. The org creates its own tv contracts and playoffs for all sports. Basically, the group of 48 (BBC) becomes a true minor league for the NFL, NBA, MLBB, Olympic sports etc. Sorry, the 355 Division 1 schools for basketball (the thousand pound gorilla) can go get their own TV deal....... I'm sure the Wichita State vs. Marquette game will get killer ratings! For me, I am all in on the BBC concept. So, I am pro Cody if he expands his scope. I am anti Cody if is a football only guy.

This is game specific and this has to do with the offenses that each team is facing. I think Ohio State has the superior interior DL to Texas. I think Ohio State has the best defensive backfield in CFB. There isn’t a WR on Texas that is a threat to Ohio State’s DB’s while Texas’ D has to go up against the #1 WR/TE rooms in the country and one of the best OL’s.

I agree. I think Texas’ OL is going to struggle massively. -

Reworked just as such a negative connotation. Ohio State’s DL will be one of the best in college football. -

Good stuff today. I’m beyond excited to get this season started! -
What are the strengths/weaknesses of Ohio State’s defense? I was led to believe they’re replacing their entire dline and they return the most penalized CB in the nation. Outside of Downs I guess there’s not much I fear, but I’m sure I’m missing a whole lot since I don’t follow Ohio St and you’re more confident in Ohio St’s defense than Texas’ defense.

Yeah this sounds good and I’m very proud of him, but with no disrespect to you Bobby I couldn’t care less. All this did was confirm my thoughts that he is someone that thinks they are better and more intelligent than everyone else. And I’m 100% sure now he feels this way because he’s donated or whatever. With all the mingling and money he’s made you think he would have learned better people skills. Dude gives off you are beneath me because I’m rich vibes. Will forever remain ignored. - Today

Love this. Has to be. -
I don't see that at all but Sayin is no stiff either...excellent pocket presence and maneuvers well in the pocket. Very capable of extending plays when the pocket breaks down and he's got a few weapons he can look for downfield. My take is that we have two young and inexperienced QB's. One is at home facing a great D front - are they the best we'll see, I don't know but certainly one of the 3 best we'll see all year - with an experienced group in front of him that has been thru the wars. The other is on the road in front of 100,000+ hostile fans with a re-tooled inexperienced Oline facing a very good Dline - all of whom have played alot of meaningful snaps, just limited starts - and what I believe to be one of the best back 7s in the game. If the Dline plays as well as expected, this years Buckeye defense will be better than last. It's gonna be loud, I think your Oline is gonna struggle to protect Arch and he's gonna have his hands full and if he tries to force things into that back 7, it's gonna be a problem. Young QB, inexperienced Oline, big home field advantage here..... I think that's the difference in the game

If replacing the entire starting DL doesn’t count as reworked, I’m not sure what qualifies.
