  1. Past hour
  2. The ‘Boise State Policy’ could also be called the ‘Arizona State Policy’ as the Sun Devils were ranked 11th by the CFP committee last December, two spots lower than Boise. It was ridiculous that Boise and ASU got first round byes. Curious that the G5 conferences don’t go negotiate their own playoff bracket for TV rights rather than fighting for that one low seed in the CFP.
  3. There's definitely a racial, at least a sexualized undertone to this. Clark is a tremendous player, there's no doubt about that. But there's been plenty of talented players before Clark, and no one has been to win over the nation's attention like the Fevers have. My personal theory is that like it or not, the larger fan base (read: middle class dudes) just don't identify with most of the WNBA players. We don't respect their athletic prowess, and if they aren't at least averagely attractive, we're not paying attention. We don't care if we identify with male players, because we don't sexualize them, so it's not just a racial thing. It's also not an accident that Clark has a couple of very attractive teammates who happen to be white, that are active on social media, which is spurring the team and league's popularity. There's a popular narrative that we're just a racist nation. While that may be true, let's not overlook that we're also a bunch of sexist pigs.
  4. Boise State AS is not happy with this change.
  5. Realize it was being speculated and yesterday it became officially approved. CFP now moving to straight seeding for playoffs and first-round byes. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45271767/sources-college-football-playoff-moving-straight-seeding
  6. Who knew taking away a true spring game format would be so detrimental lol
  7. Today
  8. I think I heard Rick Neuheisel state the other day that most athletic departments are bloated.
  9. https://www.oudaily.com/news/ou-athletic-department-staff-layoffs-revenue-sharing-athletes-joe-castiglione-nil/article_771a162e-bbdb-45b2-ae8f-dd166f2db979.html
  10. The funnier point of all this though is that A&M isn’t remotely in the discussion so it’s completely absurd for Elko (an unproven HC) and A&M (an unproven football team who hasn’t won a single natty in 80 years) to make that ridiculous claim.
  11. Now sir, tell us how you really feel 😂😂😂
  12. Agree Texas isn’t there yet. Trending in that direction. As the only school to make CFP semifinals the past 2 years, if the Arch era puts Sark over the top with at least 1 natty, then Texas can be in the discussion,
  13. The swag is definitely back after losing to Navy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. The criminal interlopers are worse than the pederast priests at ND. ND is full of institutional pederasty, but they don't cheat the game itself like the criminals.
  15. Issues across the Red River
  16. I want the criminal interlopers to lose every game they play. They're cheating, lowlife criminals. Soap dropping criminals don't deserve to be our rival. They need to be 99 to life. Can't wait for them to suck worse than Nebraska.
  17. Is average-above average looking down?
  18. Who was the last NBA team to win three titles in row? I think it was the Lakers and Kobe. After which they literally changed the rules to keep the Lakers from winning every title while Kobe played. Didn't change the rules for Mikey.
  19. Texas and Oregon are not there yet. Could include Bama if you're only taking about the DeBoer era. Texas, Oregon, and DeBoer need to start winning natties to make that claim valid. Right now Ohio State is 1 and Georgia 2. Texas has a chance to knock both off and leapfrog to 1.
  20. 24 out of the past 25 years, A&M failed to win at least 10 games. A&M hasn’t made it to the national championship game or even to the college football playoffs EVER in the past 80 years. As CJ reported last night, 12th Man Fundraising has dropped $50m annually since 2022 ($135m down to $85m). How does any of this point to a team that is positioned to become “the premier program in the nation”? The schools who have legit claim to that title now or trending that way: Georgia Ohio State Texas Oregon Bama (tbd with new coaching staff)
  21. https://www.lubbockonline.com/story/sports/college/red-raiders/2023/07/13/texas-tech-football-coach-joey-mcguire-stands-behind-everything-runs-through-lubbock-quote/70398931007/#:~:text=The camera showed a fired,he stood behind that declaration. These coaches who’ve yet to do anything on the field but talk way too big before the season starts make me appreciate Sark’s humble but grind hard mentality. Let the play on the field do the talking. Mike Elko telling the Brazos County A&M Club “We are going to become the premier program in all of college football” has the same tone of desperation and wishful thinking that Joey McGuire had in 2023 when he declared “The nation is going to find out that Everything runs through Lubbock!” Love it!! Coach Sark, keep being you and let the results speak for themselves. We’ll let Coach Elko enjoy another 8-4 season in College Station with a beat down on November 28th!!! Hook em!! 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  22. Arch gonna be the best football player in the world, not just college, in 2025 and 2026. That's what "Jungle Boogie" means.
  23. Goober told me gig em means the idiots want to win. No kidding. What does it mean? Hook em means take the horns of a longhorn from Texas and literally puncture the opposition. Longhorn cattle drives from Texas to the railroads in Kansas literally sustained the Texas economy from 1866 until the early 1880s. What does "gig" mean? Far as I can tell, it literally doesn't mean anything. Maybe that's at the base of the reason why "gig em" can't win anything.
  24. Clemson getting revenge or do the horns rally back?
  25. As the Aggies would say, baseball and softball only lost because they did not play enough innings.
