Miller: "We had a lot of things that we dealt with, especially in the second half, that aren't characteristic of our recent play. I thought we regressed a little bit."
Miller said it's on him that Texas gave the Aggies "four point-blank layups" in the second half. He just felt the defense didn't execute and didn't play with enough effort when A&M was having success finding open cutters.
Pope said A&M deserves credit for the win, but he felt the Longhorns' wounds were, for the most part, self-inflicted.
"We did it to ourselves," he said.
Pope said the Longhorns need to attack the next few days the way they did after the Tennessee loss.
"As a point guard, I've got to do a better job of getting my guys ready," he said.
