  1. Past hour
  2. What room do they have in the WR room? You will likely return all 4 starters. You're already paying the current crop of Fr too much and then you have the next group of Fr inbound soon. Where is there room to add a WR? I'm not trying to be a d*ck or anything but there is no point in going after a WR unless you lose a bunch of these guys. Especially with rev sharing kicking in next year, how does that affect things?
  3. How about that! 3-3 from deep to start the 2nd half.
  4. Thats certainly a bright spot. Miller mentioned last week that he was hoping to see as many different defensive looks as possible in the non-con.
  5. I think you’ll see a much more aggressive strategy of mitigating dead money on the roster this offseason. There were many calling for an overhaul of the RB room last year and some (myself included) questioning the plan on the OL coming out of spring. The resources to allocate are not always found in more donations but a recalibrating of the money you already have invested in the roster.
  6. At least we are getting lots of practice breaking the press.
  7. I guess Medina is tonight’s go off guy tonight. Dude is hitting everything
  8. Halftime, Texas leads 52–36. 38 points in the paint. 12 turnovers and only one three made on nine attempts.
  9. Of course a turnover leading to points for chaminade is how the first half ends
  10. FWIW, Mark has 4 of the Longhorns' 6 assists tonight,
  11. He’s forgotten way more basketball than i know so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
  12. Sark and co have never been shy if there was a must get. They have been very thoughtful and made a few off evals imo, but have gone after what they needed. Last year it was what about d tackleand te... they went and got em, everyone thought this oline would be better, thus the bad eval statement along with safety and db.
  13. Good lord. Everybody said why did RT take so long to put Mark at the point? Miller switched him back after one game.
  14. This was Miller last Monday: "No doubt Jordan will play a lion's share of the minutes at the PG position... I think that's his best position."
  15. Simple, why spend the money when the return is going to be so minimal versus your current position group. Especially considering what they felt was more important. We’ll never know, but I’m not confident much of any back would’ve fared well this year. You add in injuries to both and the quick trigger to bail on the running game and you’ve got a big spend for little to no gain. I didn’t hear a ton about the RB room preseason other than we have the only returning thousand yard back and CJ Baxter is coming back healthy along with Clark and Gibson. From my recollection there was optimism about them especially after the OSU game this year. But you tell me what resources you’d choose to reallocate to have one of these guys?
  16. Yeah it’s his backcourt turnovers I am watching.
  17. 13 of Chaminade's 18 points have come off of turnovers
  18. Jordan Pope isn't a primary ballhandler imo. Texas has ten turnovers at the under 8 timeout and if it's not a break or transition opportunity, the ball crossing midcourt looks like a struggle. It was the same issue last night.
  19. All 26 points have come in the paint for Texas.
  20. I am giving miller the benefit of the doubt that this team is still finding cohesion, But boy do they look sloppy.
  21. None of these dudes are Bijan let’s be clear. I didn’t say anything about being terrible. All I’m arguing is that the production noted isn’t comparable. I don’t think Bijan would be as productive as he could be with this offensive line versus what we’ve had in the past. We had worse offensive lines with him but also played in a weaker big 12. I’m not sure Ricky Williams or Bijan could do much behind this line compared to one that has more cohesion and talent.
  22. Just so lackadaisical with the ball. 7 TO through eight minutes.
