Miller says this team is hardened and ready for anything with the road game venues they've played in -- talking about a very pro BYU crowd in Portland.

Tramon Mark says he took his matchup with Dybantsa personally like he does with any matchup.

Tramon Mark on his four blocks: "They just came. That's what happens when you play hard."

Miller says they're hitting their stride defensively at the right time. Says this group is as close as they've been all year.

Tramon Mark: "We didn't get much sleep but we got enough sleep to win the game."

Miller says they finished the game the right way. Lauds only turning the ball over nine times.

Miller says a big reason Texas won is because of what Matas did.

Swain on the team's resiliency: "We didn't end the season how we wanted to, but we never folded. We never gave up on each other. I kind of think it made us closer, really. We kind of had like a player's only little meeting and I felt like that built our chemistry and that's what is making us a pretty dangerous team right now."

On the halftime comment Miller made on Dybantsa: "Don't misinterpret kind of the deeper meaning to it. And I think these guys understand it. We understood that he has the ability to score like nobody else. What we talked about is a jump shot by him as a victory for us. And what we couldn't afford is that he puts Dailyn in foul trouble, or he fouls our entire team out."

Matas: "I love to play physical." Matas on missed FTs: "I just need to work more on that and improve."

Miller says the last couple of games from a defensive perspective is as good as they've done all year.

Miller says one word he'd use to describe the group: "resilient"

Miller: "I'm beyond thrilled to be able to advance and have the opportunity to play into the next round."

Boom! Can’t expect all the ladies teams to maintain their current rankings at the end so the extra points here are huge.

Since you mentioned Bosh, I’ve been remembering that 2001-02 Dallas Lincoln basketball team that went 40-0 and won the state championship. I went to watch the 4A championship game between Lincoln and Beaumont Ozen—Chris Bosh vs. Kendrick Perkins. That 2002 Texas high school basketball class had a lot of star power—Bosh, Perkins, Bracey Wright, Daniel Horton.

The World Baseball Classic final and our play-in game were a nice distraction from whatever the heck happened after Tunney’s bomb. Bc that was brutal. On to Auburn

Chris Bosh'ish with a little difference offensive strengths if he maximizes IMO. Texas will be right there. NIL could be way up there.
