Especially if you didn't play a significant role or develop anymore than the previous year.

All money is the same green. Texas' culture will appeal to self motivators, but may alienate those who can not buy in. It is important to get the buy-ins to sustain the culture. Texas had at least 4 players play in the bowl game who could not or did not return. But they played anyway! Contrast that to Notre Divas who had so many opt outs because of their entitled culture.
