  1. Past hour
  2. It won't just be the redzone offense. The offense under Arch might not be as efficient as it was with Quinn, but it will be more explosive. I know we all were tired of bubble screen, and running back swing passes. The difference between Quinn and Arch is, once you touch Quinn he got happy feet, Arch will stand in there and deliver the throw on time on target.
  3. This is exciting. I’m sure we haven’t seen the full Sark offensive experience yet. Quinn just didn’t have the consistent zip to pull off certain plays. I think there will be a lot more chunck yardage plays this seasin ala his Alabama OC years. Gonna be a fun offense to watch
  4. Today
  5. In all fairness I feel like I could go out there and throw for 4k if I had Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, moss and CEH. That was insane talent and weapons on that LSU team.
  6. Possibly he's just signaling to other programs that his recruitment is wide open, that he's not waiting around for Texas any longer. Sounds like he jumped the gun with us, confusing an "offer" with a "committable offer", and perhaps he quit taking calls from other schools. (Yeah I know, a lot of speculation on my part in those two sentences ...) Looks like a Big 12 guy to me, or maybe one of the California ACC schools ... I wish him well.
  7. That's fair, a lot of people seem to think that.
  8. Without inside info, this seems to have played out very similarly to what happened with Yaya Gaad last cycle.
  9. Very intrigued to see how he does with legit dudes coming after him in pass rush situations in the NFL.
  10. Here’s what Cowboys HC Coach Brian Schottenheimer had to say about former Texas RB Jaydon Blue: "Yeah, the speed, the dynamic playmaking ability. I think he's a dual-threat guy. I think you can hand him the ball. He doesn't need a lot of space to make people miss, and his acceleration is uncanny. I mean, his ability to get to top speed is unique," Schottenheimer said. "He's just, he's such a talented young man. But what I like is the professionalism that he's shown at this camp.“ "I think it's one of those things where, like, he's here and he's like, 'Okay, I think it's kind of go time. I have my little bit of learning curve in the off-season program and all this new language.' You gotta remember these guys, they rarely hear play calls in the huddle. They get signals, and they're going fast. And so I think he's much more comfortable with what we're doing. So you're seeing him play faster, freer, and more confident." https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/news/brian-schottenheimer-raves-about-talent-professionalism-dallas-cowboys-rookie
  11. Sounds like they accepted his commitment but told him to hold off on announcing. Remember, he had a date set to announce and then pushed it back (probably told by staff to hold off announcing). After seeing others jump in the boat and still not being given the green light to announce he probably felt he was being put on the backburner while in recruiting circles people are viewing him as a Texas commit. Better for him to get out in front of it than to be trapdoored closer to NSD with no seat to sit in once the music stops playing. I wish good luck to the young man.
  12. Yesterday
  13. If he works hard he might just make something of himself
  14. He’s been playing nickel mostly. Payton has raved on him a lot.
  15. No, no, no, no! No billboard material CBS. We want them overconfident and to come up and slap them down.
  16. That's funny. I predicted Texas to be at tOSU also.
  17. His health is first and the most important everything is secondary. Get healthy Prime get healthy…
  18. If you want to read the article: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/2025-big-ten-football-schedule-breakdown-predicting-the-first-loss-for-all-16-conference-teams/
  19. CBS Sports did an article where they predicted each big 10 teams first loss. As for the Buckeyes, CBS predicts that they will lose to Texas in the season opener. Here’s what they had to say:
  20. His son’s are gone, travis is gone, the best he could do was 9-4 with multiple NFL guys so of course his desire is prolly dwindling.
  21. Extravaganza arch manning season ongoing in full force. I’m glad my expectations are tame for him this season.
  22. Arch Manning +400 Garrett Nussmeier (LSU) +550 Cade Clubnik (Clemson) +600 Julian Sayin (Ohio St) +1000 Drew Allar (Penn St) +1000 LaNorris Sellers (S. Carolina) +1200 DJ Lagway (Florida) +1200 Dante Moore (Oregon) +1200 Carson Beck (Miami) +1500 Sam Leavitt (Ariz St) +2200 John Mateer (OU) +2200 Gunner Stockton (UGA) +2200 Austin Simmons (Ole Miss) +2200 Marcel Reed (Texas A&M) +2800 Ty Simpson (Alabama) +2800
  23. The purpose of doing this by him was for what? Seems pointless to me.
