  1. Past hour
  2. Have you followed Patricia before? He’s not the GOAT DC you’re making him out to be. Remember when Nick Foles absolutely schooled him on the biggest stage? Remember when he was the laughing joke of the NFL 2 years ago?
  3. Ryan Day or Gruden at Florida ! Gruden is my choice At Fl… will kwep recruits .. develop Qb… and be great recruiter in Fl
  4. Fair enough....I see two young, inexperienced QB's playing against two of the best defenses in the country. We know that typically defenses are ahead of offenses early in the season and Sark and his offensive brain trust don't really have any relevant tape to study re: our new DC Patricia and it's gonna be a tough environment for them. I see a defensive battle and barring a rash of turnovers, I see a one score game with a multitude of lead changes for 60 minutes.
  5. Great list! Muck N Fuss, Huisache and La Cosecha are my faves. Krause's Beer Garden is a decent spot as well if you're down for German fare (sausage, pretzels, etc.). Art House Cakery is THE spot for desserts!
  6. Idk why Texas even bothers to make the trip tbh.
  7. Only way to beat Texas push up the middle…..3 high safetys … containment on ends….let their Lb clean up….. They cant allow Arch to bootleg….their Ends are the key…. That is the Read…..if they commit to much Sarks goin expose They must force Arch into rpos ….contain him Arch gotta live Joe burrow Arm…. Sarks gonna counter/ trap…. Cross routes-bootleg….. key those osu def Ends force the Arch inside, if gets outside … forces their cb to stop Arch run…. If plays extended…. Endries … Wingo…. Livingston are wide open eventualy as Arch extends play. Def push up middle and def ends discipline containment determines osu success!
  8. Read the whole thread. I admitted to being unclear about that. I meant that Ohio State has better athletes than Iowa State. Implying that they might be able to run the flyover scheme more effectively.
  9. How would Coach Gruden do at the college level with recruiting and NIL? We know he can coach. Assuming Coach Gruden takes a job where NIL is not an issue. Can he recruit? A few current coaches who's seat is getting warmer by the day; Napier, BV, Kelly, Pittman... For me, somewhat of a scary thought if Gruden were to end up at Florida, LSU, or even an OK if they can get it together. Curious what you all think? Apologies if this topic is completely irrelevant for OTF. HOOK'EM
  10. i'm not conceding that.
  11. Jeff are you hearing anything weird about Goosby? Any surgery or anything?
  12. From @CJ Vogel back in January, I did find these as our offensive and defensive grades for 2024.
  13. But apparently a highly touted hockey prospect according to Google’s AI
  14. I think this team is going to miss Jake Majors this year. He was really steady his last two years. Hutson has been the lowest graded olineman on this team the last three years. Pressure up the middle on Arch could be very real this season.
  15. Today
  16. awesome. let's go. can't wait for tOSU.
  17. Two of the four tackles we lost last year were from the portal. Texas as of late has been spot on in their evaluations. Previously at Texas as to why we were mired in mediocrity is one, we didn't pay enough attention to the trenches on either side, two we would get top ten classes, but it'd be lean heavily on skill positions. One thing everyone would tell you is when we lost Couburn and Ojomo to the draft we worried. Then we lost Murphy and Sweat and were about to crap ourselves. Now we lost Norton, Lole, Broughton, and Collins we're like who's next. Kenny Baker has been a wonderful addition to Sark's staff.
  18. why would we not like it? OTF is the best.
  19. Thanks for sharing. That was a great article. I can’t wait for this coming season. Hook’em 🤘🏻
  20. I heard this new Pres and shoot lightening bolts from his arse. That’s good enough for me.
  21. Losing Ransom could potentially be a much bigger deal than we realize, but hopefully Jaylen McClain or Malik Hartford step up in a big way, but until they do it has do be considered a downgrade. As for CB2, Jermaine Matthews Jr is probably already better than Denzel Burke was, and has a higher ceiling. If those two would have been in the same class, I don't think Burke ever would have started over Matthews Jr. I look at it as a Quinn Ewers vs. Arch situation. Arch was clearly the future with a higher ceiling, but he was never going to surpass Ewers on the depth chart (unless Ewers came back this season of course), and the same goes for Denzel Burke.
  22. I feel like these are all rational takes. I think Ohio State's OT's are going to be very good, even better than last season but Texas' DE's are advantage Texas against anybody. In my personal opinion, I think Ohio State is going to have more success running against Texas than they did in the Cotton Bowl. Ohio State returns their entire IOL, plus Texas is replacing their top 4 DT's (from my understanding at least). I know that Texas brought in a bunch of bodies in the portal, so we will see.
  23. I get ya. I guess it doesn't matter because regardless Texas runs the perfect scheme to counter what Ohio State wants to do in the passing game, so I'm not expecting anything to come easier than it did in the Cotton Bowl, unless Max Klare truly is that great of a receiving threat (compared to Gee Scott Jr), to where he opens everything up.
  24. Here’s a great article on Texas pitching coach Max Wiener from Baseball America. I highly recommend you read it… https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/how-texas-pitching-coach-max-weiner-is-reshaping-longhorn-arms-by-defying-tradition/
