  1. Past hour
  2. All these guys have talent. It comes down to that inner drive. We have multiple examples of players "growing up". For example, look at the D line draftees the last few years... Or the TE room, especially Helm. For me, the one that exemplifies this best is Jahdae Baron. Talk about having a pair, going to Huff Daddy to request #7 & then winning the Thorpe. All these guys only knew a head down, a** up work ethic. Basically saying, "I'm not just going to be a UT letterman; I want to leave my mark." At the end of 2026, we'll know who those are.
  3. Today
  4. There is only one Texas quarterback in the NFL HOF.
  5. Funny man. Always had a great one-liner, right out of nowhere. When he took over at Notre Dame he mentioned that there were 13 quarterbacks on scholarship. A reporter asked him if any of them could play another position. "I think one or two of them could play shortstop."

  7. I wonder if the top 4 draft producers have ever underperformed as much as this group.
  8. Texas state has 2 WR better than Wingo? Better, not just more productive playing low level games. Better.
  9. Thanks for the kind words! Think we're just getting started. 🤘
  10. It was soooo poetic how they pounded their chest on how they were going to blow us out in Austin after the Florida loss just to come into Austin, with conference championship aspirations on the line, in typical aggie, They lay an egg.
  11. Impressive, motivational speaker is how I will remember him. Rest in peace.
  12. I would not want a single aggy player on my favorite NFL team.
  13. A&M. Doing less with more.
  14. They had the perfect storm this past season with: easy schedule, upper class oline, lots of returning players from the previous year, good portal class … and yet nothing to show for it other than a good record padded by easy wins. They are going to find out this year how hard it is to replace experience and continuity.
  15. Yesterday
  16. I just was doing my impression of him a couple of days ago at work, Sad news. Mark may and him going back and forth on college football final was the best.
  17. Agreed Bunk. I canceled all my other subs as soon as Bobby started OTF and it’s only gotten better. He leads a team with no fluff, no BS and doesn’t chase clicks with goofy headlines or sensationalistic crap. Bobby also has something others in this line of work do not, character and professionalism. While others burn sources and throw kids under the bus just to be first with information, OTF always does their part to protect names or information until it’s the right time to release. I worked in the media business for almost two decades and they’re aren’t a whole lot of folks with the integrity you’ll find at OTF.
  18. I think JJR could make a move. He was known as a heady guy coming out of high school with a high football IQ if I remember correctly. If he can find his way onto the field, I could see him making a splash.
  19. I want every single one to be like Rod Babers, namely, "You young bucks are good, but you aren't taking my job this year! You ain't jumpin' over me!"
  20. Bunk, I couldn't agree more. The reporting is first rate, but everyone's love for the Longhorns has made a huge difference to me.
  21. OTF is part of my daily life . Have not missed a coffee and football episode in years . I even remember before it was officially named “Coffee and football”. It’s an every day ritual for me.
