  2. Losing DK Moore and Lott in back to back cycles RPReplay_Final1641246600.mov
  3. My only concern is that the WR room will still lack the speed that we needed this year. The portal should hopefully have some speed available.
  4. Good, use that NIL allocation for the portal for much bigger needs than a guy who is a better athlete than WR.
  5. It’s hard to come back from tearing almost every major ligament in your knee. Especially at his position. You don’t even need hindsight to know we should have went to the portal for RB last off season. And yes we should continually run the hell out of Wisner vs the Aggies. Not doing so would be bad game planning.
  6. Gerry , as of 5:23 Tuesday afternoon , to satisfy OTF members; are there still any "HI/HI's: predictions left?
  7. Streets Are saying Jon Sumrall to Auburn Kiffin to LSU and of course Eric morris comfirmed for the Oklahoma st job Wonder who will go to Florida, penn state etc
  8. Wonder how much they are paying Stewart and D. Moore, and now Lott? What's the production thus far? In two years Stewart has played in 5 games due to injury, with decent production when healthy (48 rec, 5 TD, 613 yards). Moore has played in 5 games this year (again, missed time due to injury). 28 catches, 3 TD, 443 yards - also 4 carries for 49 yards and a TD). They are excellent recruits and I wish they had gone to Texas, but so far out of 36 possible games they've been healthy for just 10 of them.
  9. Texas takes all sports seriously!
  10. I guess they're taking soccer seriously now that it's required for the Directors Cup.
  11. I’m pretty happy with Kohen Brown and Bishop. If Michael Terry 3 or Lockett or Ffrench come on, and we get someone in the portal we are not in bad shape. i think Kohen Brown is really underrated.
  12. but we have a creative offensive guru head coach?
  13. Not surprising that we're having a tougher road with WRs this cycle. Took three 5-stars last cycle, none of whom have played much. McCutcheon, theoretically the fourth WR take last year, has emerged as quite possibly the best of that group. And you likely have four returning "starters" in Moore, Mosley, Wingo, and Livingstone. Plus Niblett as an occassional gadget guy. That's a lot of traffic in front of you if you're looking for early playing time. I'd imagine that not all 9 of those guys return for 2026. Moore could maybe go pro (though I'm not sure he's had the season he probably wanted to leading into a potential draft year). I'm guessing we'll struggle to retain all the 2025 signees if all the starters return as well. But even if we lose a couple, that's going to be a lot of returning talent for 2026.
  14. Yeah, better case a year ago than this season imo
  15. I would agree. His season is absolutely nutty.
  16. Today
  17. IMHO Hill should have won the award last year. He was playing lights out last year (this year too).
  18. You don’t say! Clearly you, Mr Insider, knew Baxter wouldn’t recover. Also, weren’t you the one who continually suggests to run the hell out of Wisner.
  19. Annual top WR leaving Texas to play for Oregon. Unfortunate.
  20. Should be at 105 like everyone else. That will provide plenty of room for developmental OL and DTs and still leave NIL for portal immediate fixes.
  21. It would definitely matter. I've routinely seen Baxter & Wisner turn plays that were blocked for 5-6 yards into 2-3 yard gains and sometimes with Wisner into negative yardage.
  22. What this team really needs is more overpriced true freshman receivers. Lott is good, but is worth blowing your budget on? Enjoy Eugene, play about 3-5 games a year and stack your money buddy.
  23. Looks like an excellent hire.
  24. Cool, thanks for the update.
