OTF Premium So About the Offensive Line in 2026
MuschampsWhiteBoard replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
True, Goosby's of the world are the prime example of developing. But if he was a member of the 2025 class, for example, does Texas retain him? or do they cut him loose to open up funds for ready-now players? -

I disagree. There remains value. Goosby’s of the world are the prime example of coming in and developing into a starter-ready guy -

Portal Dead Week Conjecture: Did USC Get it Wrong?
SoldierHorn replied to DiggsTX's topic in On Texas Football Forum
yes, USC got it wrong and will find out. That is part of Texas' problem this year the last few years. When you have back to back to back great recruiting classes, it is very difficult to give them all adequate playing time. This has always been a problem but not only do these players now have a means to change their situation without setting themselves back a year, they also have a monetary incentive to do so. In this current recruiting climate, they can not afford (literally) to stockpile the roster with talented depth chart backups. -

Agree. The exercise was a depth chart without any further additions. 🤘🏼 -

Makes me wonder how bad the assessment and development of our OL has been given none were ready to fill the void and the staff didn’t apparently choose to retain them.
