The second half of 2025 Arch was a top 5 QB in CFB. He was fast, explosive, and decisive. He took over the the ATM and Michigan games with his pure athleticism, all on a bad foot. What we have with 2026 Arch is at best an average QB. He looks slower, less explosive, and indecisive (see 3 pass attempts beyond line of scrimmage this year). I don't know if it is something physically going on with Arch, or between the ears. Sark, if it is you pulling the reigns back on Arch, telling him to stay in the pocket more, you need to go have a talk with Mack Brown. Ask him how him turning loose VY turned out for him and the team. Now I'm not saying Arch is VY, but Arch is plenty fast enough, athletic enough, and strong enough, to make a difference in game outcomes. You have the proof in the last two games of 2025. To Sark, play to win when you have double digit leads in the 2nd half!!! Stop coaching "not to lose". There is nothing wrong with extending leads, to step on the opponents throat when you have them down. Just a little fact, against conference and legit P4 teams during Sark's tenure, we have been tied or leading at half in 40 games, we were outscored in the 2nd half in 26 of those games.

When we have the Nickel on the field what does our front six look like. Am I correct in assuming the Sam LB will be off the field? Is it more of a 3-3-5, or 4-2-5 look??? I think this is where we will miss Ty Smith the most. I would think he would have been on the field in place of Cryer in these situations.

I always wished Lil Jordan Humphries had come back for his final year. I always thought he was underrated. He didn’t have the blazing speed, as witnessed at the combine, but he was a playmaker with the ball in his hands. It would have been beneficial to him as well to come back for his senior year. He was incredible at high pointing the ball and 50/50 catches.

OTF staff, ever thought about having an over/under contest for the OTF family? Maybe pick 20 team and individual over/under’s to pick. I.e. Team wins (10.5), Arch passing yards (3250.5), etc…. This for the 12 game schedule, no championship or playoff games. Then some kind of tiebreaker for ties. Maybe some little prize for winners??? Just a thought.🤘🤘

I remember back in the day standing right next to this guy in his full uniform. Lavell Pinkney was a freak. Not including linemen I have never seen a Skill position player with his physique, especially his lower half. He was all butt and thighs. I remember thinking this guys hind quarters look like a thoroughbred horse. Dude could move too.

I’m sure the majority of evaluations are the eye test during practice sessions , and film study of practices. More specifically OL evaluations. Full contact 11 on 11, can get pretty congested and hard to read in real time. I’m sure this is where film study is most important. Was wondering how much coaches listen to opposing position players input. Hey Gefrard, January, or Hero, “ which one of these guards appear to be the strongest, which one is hardest to get around or through, which one is hardest to get off their block, etc… Same for WR vs DB’s. Any coaches on here???

…first off congrats to the team on a great season. I don’t claim to be a college baseball coach, but doesn’t mean I can’t have opinions. Hat tip to Georgia’s coaches for their game plan against Texas. Pound the strike zone on first pitch until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike. Throw it right over the middle of the plate until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike. Once you get Texas batter down 0-1, throw a slider that starts over the plate and breaks off the plate. Once you have Texas batter down 0-2, or even 1-2, congrats you have a huge advantage. I know Texas’ MO is seeing a lot of pitches, but come on, that first pitch is meat so often. Just a little frustrated, but still love my Horns, and the trajectory they’re on. Hook’em!!!

I’d still like to hear Sark’s answer. What I’d like to hear is simple, “ At a minimum the player, coach, or personnel will be suspended for an entire season. We will try to get them some help, but they are at a minimum suspended for the year”. There has to be severe consequences to have some teeth.

Sark, what have you told your players, staff, and support staff will happen to them if they are caught gambling on CFB???

…..over/under 3.5. I say over. We may have two of the best “hands” linebackers in the country.
