100% agree. The most frustrating part of the 2023 defense has returned in 2025

Has Santana Wilson seen any playing time?
-
Eh, they’ve been up and down. Florida and Auburn held them in check fairly well.
-
Does anyone against Georgia? Lol. Maybe only when they play Bama.
-
Probably wouldn’t call holding

Georgia Havoc Stats... Not Good
Bunk Moreland replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Yeah, but we said the same thing about the Kentucky and MSU defenses, both of which hammered Arch. Hopefully Sark and Flood figured some things out last week that will carry through against a Georgia D that clearly has problems creating havoc. -
My main concern is the soft zone coverage will give up easy throws to Branch and allow him to work in space. With our pass rush we should be playing tighter coverage given the qb has limited time to get the ball off. It will allow for more defensed passes and more ints. Perhaps we give up a big play, or two, but allowing teams to have easy completions makes it too easy to keep the chains moving for the offense.
-
I’m worried about the speed of Branch. Brennen Thompson caused some problems for us against Miss St. Pass rush needs to make it tough on Stockton to let those plays develop
-
Sad to hear, but we don’t know anything about these players outside what we see during games.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild

Who would be trying to court him? -

It has been said every season how hard WR is to learn in Sark’s offense and outside of Xavier Worthy, because we had no choice, freshman don’t play hardly at all. D-Mo was also an anomaly in that regard bc Whittington had to be protected but still don’t recall him having a crazy amount of catches or anything. Let’s just see how they look next year. I have a feeling they will ALL produce on a decent level next year, well, Lockett, Ffrench and McCutcheon anyway.

There's been some buzz in relation to Lincoln Riley and the current coaching carousel. Josh Pate mentioned he's a name to watch out for 🤔. If the buzz actually ends up being true how would that fare with USC's avalanche of a recruiting class, and is Texas still in communication with any recruits committed there with less than a month left before national signing day.

Rumors the WR room is mess. Sounds like some of the freshmen WR'S are very unhappy. Plus I'm assuming big $ donors are unhappy they are wasting so much money on players that can't get on the field. Hopeully just rumors cause could hurt Florida recruiting with a top RB and WR transfering due to their perception on why they aren't on the field more.

Disappointing Recruits
ArizonaLonghorn replied to Sofa King Lucky's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I thought either Ffrench or Lockett would pass up Parker Livingstone and have more catches than him by the end of the season. So far it's PL 21 - frosh WRs 10 (Lockett (3), Ffrench (1) and McCutcheon (6)). Glad I didn't find any takers for THAT bet. -
Made of glass.

I thought Ffrench would be a starter by November. Missed it by that much.
-
Basically we need to pass all over them and take advantage of their lack of pressure and banged up secondary.

Sorry, double post

Bobby followed up. It’s all fine. I wasn’t tuned in as much from the spring thru the summer so had forgotten about Moore missing the spring, Wisner missing time, etc.
